  • 5 Reasons Taking a Lunch is Important to Your Career

Why You Should Take A Lunch BreakBy Deanne Kaczerski

    1. The woman ahead of you ordering a gluten-free wrap could change your life. Lunch is not only tasty, but is an important part of your career growth. If you're new to a company, this 60-minute break is a great way to get to know new co-workers, learn about the culture, and glean insight to how things work-the unwritten rules-so you don't waste time making mistakes. The last thing you want to do is start a new gig by creating adversaries instead of allies.

    2. You'll score a friend with (work-related) benefits. If you've been at a company for over a year, it's time to get serious about lunch. Ask to eat with women two-levels up who can help increase your knowledge of the company or get real-world advice on your career path or even how to deal with any major issues. Set up a standing monthly lunch date with a successful woman you admire at your company. She has been where you are and can offer a constant stream of valuable advice.

This side parted, braided crown is sweet, sassy, and frames your face oh so well.

Step 1. Begin with freshly blow-dried hair. For some added volume and texture, style hair with a round bristle brush and polish the look with a thickening finishing spray.

Step 2. Create a deep side part and separate a one-inch section of hair from the part. This section of hair should be pulled from the area closest to the hairline.

Step 3. Braid the one-inch section of hair. You may choose a traditional three-strand braid or a fishtail braid.

    2. Your job is so easy! The women in this industry are well-educated, cultured, and ridiculously hard-working. Word to the wise? Don't underestimate them.

    3. Do you really need all those shoes? Yes. Yes, I do.

    4. Do you ever post about anything important? Granted, there are tons of more pressing, super important issues happening throughout the globe and I'm not trying to tell you that fashion matters more than national security. However, I refer you to this infamous video where Miranda Presley SHUTS. IT. DOWN.

Spicy Food You've thought about your hair, your outfit (and what goes under your outfit), your shoes, and even your perfume choice. But have you thought about what you'll eat? Here are 9 foods to skip-plus 3 to pick-for a steamy night out.

    1. Garlic:
No amount of gum or mints can overcome the pungency of the "stinky rose." Unless you're trying to escape sucking face with a vampire, avoid at all costs.

    2. Spaghetti: Gracefully twirling noodles is about as easy as herding cats. And there's nothing-I repeat nothing-sexy about hoovering unruly strands or splattering tomato sauce all over your lap.

    Healthy Sex LifeHealthy Sex Life

My friend Barry met his wife when they were both nineteen years old. He lost his virginity to her Junior year and they continued to date for many years, got married, and are still going strong ten years into their relationship. You know what helps? They have a lot of sex. Why is that important? Among other reasons, it means they still regularly remind each other that they think the other person is sexy. This means that they still feel appreciated in ways other than "because you do things for me." In talking with Barry, he attributes the success of his relationship in part to the fact that they have a healthy sex life.

This brings up the question: how much sex is "normal" for a couple to have? A 1994 University of Chicago study known as "The Social Organization of Sexuality: Sexual Practices in the United States" is considered the most comprehensive in the field. The study showed that almost 80 percent of married couples have sex "a couple of times a month." Thirty-two percent

  • 4 Reasons Why Men REALLY Cheat

Why do Men CheatWhy do Men Cheat

You went out of town for a long weekend and a girl five years his junior grabbed him at the bar and took him to her dorm room. He's been working late and his office flirtation became something more. You may know the "what" at this point but the "why" is often more confusing. Here's why guys cheat:

    1. He doesn't feel desired anymore

This may sound odd, but guys need to feel sexy too. We need to know you want us, sexually. There's companionship, which is great, and we love cuddling next to you too, honey, but we need to know that at the end of the party you are counting down the minutes until you can rip off our shirt. If a guy isn't feeling like you're into sex with him he's going to be more prone to the attention of someone who does. Another way of saying this is that the guy wants to know he's still got it. He needs to validate his manhood.

1812: Death by wardrobe malfunction? After winning the Battle of the Maloyaroslavets, 490,000 of Napoleon's soldiers die in Russia. Scientists speculate the tin buttons on their uniforms couldn't withstand the -30°C temperature and turned to dust, leaving the men exposed to the elements.

1837: In Hans Christian Andersen's "The Emperor's New Clothes," a vain ruler becomes a fashion victim when two weavers trick him into wearing a suit so amazing that it's "invisible" to those in a lower class. This results in the emperor parading around completely naked in front of his subjects.

1955: Marilyn Monroe's dress blows up as she stands over a New York City subway grate in The Seven Year Itch. Though the scene was intended to leave little to the imagination, Monroe reportedly tried layering pairs of silk underwear between takes, once she realized just how exposed she was on film. Her then-husband, Joe DiMaggio, was said to be outraged with

Little-known fact: It's the fastest- growing city in the U.S., with the most live-music venues per capita.

  • Breaking the Trust: Snooping on Your Guy

Recently on The Mindy Project, our hero Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling) details those big moments of a new relationship: the first time you kiss, the first time you have sex, the first time you snoop through his stuff, the first big fight, and the first make up sex. Until then I hadn't thought much about the act of snooping; I'm naïve enough to believe that most women avoid that sort of behavior (editor's note: HA!). Thankfully, in many guy's cases it's boring - my medicine cabinet, for example, is just toothpaste and shaving cream. But that's just the surface level snoop.

Snooping doesn't have to be limited to the nightstand table and bathroom search these days. Guys know full well that if they go on a date with a woman she has or is going to Google the hell out of them. The Google search is the modern day medicine cabinet; generally pretty harmless, with occasional skeletons found. For most women they know they might find weird foot cream in his apartment, but would rather know that
