The countdown to Coachella has begun! Don't be a procrastinator, and make sure you're totally prepared with everything you need to look flawless for Indio Valley (and for the Facebook photos to follow). Your ultimate music festival beauty packing list awaits!

    • A Chic Baseball Cap: Hats: there's no better way to have it made in your own personal shade. To keep cool and protected, you'll probably want a lightweight hat to keep your hair color from fading in the sun and offer your face extra coverage from the California sunshine. We love ASOS's plain baseball cap ($19), because its big enough to give you a nice shadow but not so expansive that other people won't be able to see around you.
    • Nailed Kit Festival Decals in Neon: Even if you don't have the time or funds to get a full-on gel Coachella nail art look, you can easily do it at home, thanks to Nailed Kit's Festival Decals in Neon ($8). These simple stickers can be

POPSUGAR BeautySource: 7 Texture Hair Sprays to Get Instant Beach Waves

From the minute Serena van der Woodsen stepped onto the small screen back in 2007 when Gossip Girl first debuted, I was obsessed with her hair. I had never seen anything like it - Blake Lively's long blonde locks weren't quite straight nor were they curly. Her mane had this look that I can only describe as extreme texture - and it's totally dreamy. So I spent years wrestling to get my thick curly strands into her just-rolled-out-of-bed-but-still-polished coif.

And then I finally found the answer: beach sprays. A beach spray is any sea-salt-based or texturizing spray. Some feel more like dry shampoos with a little extra oomph and others really re-create that ocean-air-dried, piecey look. But all of them give you va-va-voom volume. In honor of Spring's arrival in just a few weeks and impending vacations we've all got on the brain, shop some of my favorite texture hair sprays on the market right now. Tip: combine these

  • 10 Tips that Helped Clear Up My Dandruff Problem

Source: 10 Tips That Helped Clear Up My Dandruff Problem

I have a confession to make: even though I'm a beauty editor and supposedly have my entire beauty routine together (false), I have serious scalp issues. Hiding underneath my gorgeous Afro is a dandruff-laden epidermis. I know what it's like to fear wearing black clothing or braided hairstyles, knowing those white flakes may be revealed. There have been numerous occasions when I got caught brushing my shoulders off - and I mean dandruff, not the dance move.

At first, I thought I could ease the itching with at-home remedies like tea tree oil and apple cider vinegar, but then I spotted the Head & Shoulders in my grandparents' shower. So, I realized, having a scaly scalp runs in the family (thanks dad!). My situation required professional intervention.

I talked to Elizabeth Cunnane Phillips, a trichologist at the Philip Kingsley Clinic, to get the answers to my dandruff questions. After a few months of product testing and

Before you unwrap another straw, did you know that pursing your lips around one actually causes wrinkles? If you want to minimize the signs of aging, there are a few habits you need to master early on. "In their 20s, people think they're invincible and that they're never going to age, but that is when you really need to develop good habits, because it will last you a lifetime," said Dr. Debra Jaliman, board-certified dermatologist and author of Skin Rules: Trade Secrets from a Top New York Dermatologist. Below you'll find the secrets to maintaining that youthful glow for longer. So when it comes to your skin, maybe 30 is the new 20 after all.

    1. It's never too early to start antiaging. Which probably means you're reading this too late. "I always say the sooner the better because if you know you're going to care about lines then you might as well start sooner," says Dr. Jaliman. The first step is using a

  • The Edgy Neon Nail Art Look Anyone Can Master

Source: The Edgy Neon Nail Art Look Anyone Can Master

Coachella is less than a month away, which means . . . it's time to start planning your festival nail art. While love a loud neon look, we've created a more subtly cool one that's part electric, part nude. To get this DIY manicure, create a reverse V-shape nail design - an edgier take on a classic moon manicure.

To start, round up your favorite neon polish, tape, and a base coat (topcoat is optional). We chose not to do a base color to make the neon really pop. Start with Butter London Nail Foundation ($19) as a base coat to perfect your natural nails. It only takes a couple minutes to dry, and then place two strips of tape at the tip of your nail to form the V shape. After painting on two thin coats of Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Rare ($17), pull off the tape while the paint is still wet. You can leave your nails as is for a matte finish, but we opted for a layer of Butter London Hardwear PD Quick Top Coat ($19) for fast-drying

Your wedding photographer is there to catch your day's biggest moments, but you shouldn't have to check your makeup before every snap of the lens. Celebrity makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff shares her tips for achieving a flawless wedding-day look that requires very little fuss postapplication. And it all starts months before you even walk down the aisle.

Prep: In order to get a bridal complexion that requires very little makeup, start your wedding day beautification process months in advance. Any facials, brow work, or hair removal should be done at least a week ahead of the date. "If your skin has any reaction, you have a few days to get skin back to normal," Sheriff says. "Steaming is also wonderful, and drinking lots of water months before will ensure your skin looks glowing and amazing on your special day."

For the big day: "Makeup needs to be waterproof and melt-proof for both the wedding and photos," explains

  • 6 Ways to Make Your Pores Look Smaller Right Now

POPSUGAR BeautySource: 6 Ways to Make Your Pores Look Smaller Right Now

You know what you never hear anyone say? "I love my pores!" But we've come across a few things recently that are going to help you clean and minimize them until you're really digging your pores. Or, at least, stop sobbing every time you think about how perfect Jourdan Dunn's complexion is in comparison to yours (seriously, her skin is perfect. Can we discuss?).

    • Bioré Self-Heating One-Minute Mask, $7: Bioré has made its name keeping our pores clean (who doesn't love those strips?), but it's moved into charcoal for this warm, black mask that sucks all the goo out.
    • Lancome Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector, $69: While you can't get your pores to magically disappear, you can work on getting the appearance of them minimized with this new advanced skincare launch from Lancome. The Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector uses a patented ingredient (LR 2412 4%, if you are curious) to correct the size of pores, photo damage,

  • The Deep Conditioner that Actually Repaired My Broken Hair

Source: The Deep Conditioner That Actually Repaired My Broken Hair

When you have a thick, unruly mane like mine, Drano is your best friend. Typically, I keep a bottle under the bathroom sink because my fallen corkscrew curls easily clog up the shower drain (and the basin, too). That's when I discovered the Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! ($26) deep conditioner. The bottle promises 81 percent less breakage, and I can back up those claims.

My detangling process was shortened by about 15 minutes and the shedding by more than half. Ingredients like biotin, keratin protein, and rosehip oil strengthened my weaker strands, while avocado and argan oils moisturized them. Some other strengthening conditioners I have tested are awful for detangling. But this product helped the comb glide through my kinky Afro. The biggest benefit: I don't have to hear my boyfriend complain about how much hair was in the bathroom sink and how I'm using up all the hot water (love you, hon!).

  • 5 Ways Having a French Facial Has Changed My Skin for the Better

POPSUGAR BeautySource: 5 Ways Having a French Facial Has Changed My Skin For the Better

Paris Fashion Week is as glamorous and fabulous as it sounds, but after nine days of eating croissants as a food group and staying up long past midnight writing, my skin had taken a turn for the worse. I had an impressive mix of cystic acne, dry patches, and random redness just for kicks, apparently. So when I turned off the Champs-Élysées into the Guerlain Institute, I had some explaining to do to my facialist. But turns out that I was the one who needed to listen! Yes, there is something else that French women do better - in the week since my facial, multiple people have commented on my glowing complexion and asked what I'm doing differently. Here are the takeaways from my Guerlain facial that I've already instituted into my skin care routine, and you should too! (And if you're in the neighborhood, seriously go check out the Institute).

    1. Don't overexfoliate! When asked to describe my skin care routine, I
