Kourtney Kardashian, pregnant with her second child, did all the necessary research before deciding to dye her hair a lighter shade of brown.

    She blogged:

"I did research about doing anything to the color of my hair while pregnant and followed all of the guidelines from my doctor and took the proper precautions necessary. I highlighted my hair, which is considered the safest form of hair color while pregnant, and not to the root, so nothing ever touched my scalp. I also used products that did not contain any ammonia."

    Kourtney added:

"It is also recommended to be in a well-ventilated area as well as being at least in your second trimester, and I followed both of those rules. Anyone who knows anything about me knows that I take caution in all the products I use all the time, but especially when pregnant."

Be the 'hit' of the party with these baby gifts! Be the 'hit' of the party with these baby gifts! If you plan on attending your BFF's baby shower sometime this year, you're going to want to show up with some unique baby gifts, something a little cooler than a rattle and a rubber ducky.

This is 2012, after all, and today's parents are a totally new breed. They have high-tech hobbies and ironically low-key wardrobes. They eat organically and think progressively, and many of them actually like the "rock-star Mohawk look" on little Junior.

So if you want to give your favorite new parents a 1st birthday baby gift that they'll actually use, think outside the box. "Traditional" is now a four-letter word. Instead of tried-and-true presents, you should be looking for eco-friendly toys and fashion-friendly onesies. To help you get started, here are five of the craziest, coolest and most unique baby gifts on the market.

  • 9 Great Educational Apps for Kids and Teens

    By Carissa Rogers, GalTime.com

Educational Gadgets Educational Gadgets I think we all can agree: 'flinging birds' and slicing fruit are NOT educational afternoon activities. (Not that we haven't all gotten sucked into the vortex of Angry Birds at least once-okay maybe twice.)

There are bazillions of apps and games made for smart phones and tablets that 'claim' to be educational, but fall flat on their ABC-knees after downloaded, played and quickly discarded.

Or worse, they turn out to be nothing more than frou-frou & full of fluff, with zero educational oomph.

When looking for truly educational apps I first checked out the hundreds of newest educational games and applications on Famigo.com. And then I asked my friends online to suggest their favorite educational apps for elementary age and older kids. (Facebook never lets me down).

I will now share my very un-scientific results.

By Romance Recovery's Johanna Lyman for GalTime.com

Jealously Jealously Jealousy is resentment of another person's success, situation, or behaviors.

You may connect jealousy with romantic relationships, and it's true that many romantic relationships are fraught with jealousy. But did you realize that the green eyed monster of jealousy can rear its ugly head in other situations as well?

Did you know that it can cause just as much damage in a work situation as it can in a romance? Did you know that there are actually three faces of jealousy? These faces represent the three ways jealousy can wreck all kinds of relationships. Do you recognize any of them?

The first face of jealousy has to do with the resentment aspect of its definition. Resentment is one of aspects of anger and anger, at its core, is an expression of fear. Energetically, you are always choosing between fear and love. When you choose a higher vibration like happiness, peace, and gratitude, you move closer to the energy

  • How to Kick Neutrals Up a Notch

    By Olivia Ciardi, GalTime.com

Splashes of color are key!Splashes of color are key! When it comes to neutrals, there's a fine line between drab and fab. Traditional neutrals (think black, cream, white, and gray) are the anchors to any outfit, but wearing them head to toe can end up dragging your style down.

The good news? All it takes to kick those neutrals up a notch are some splashes of color and texture. Jenny Feldman, Senior Fashion Editor of MyHabit.com, shows Galtime how to pump up the volume!

Washed Out: When it comes to nudes, creams and whites, it's easy to end up looking washed out. To avoid this, keep your complexion in mind...make sure you clothes don't match your skin tone.

Instead, Feldman suggests wearing threads that are 2 to 3 shades lighter (or darker) than your complexion for contrast. Another option is to wear flattering colors near your face and lighter neutrals on your lower half.

The good news is if you've been unemployed, the economy is looking better! "

The labor market in the U.S. has stabilized, and there are an increasing number of areas where the demand for skilled positions is growing much faster than the supply," said Matt Ferguson, CEO of CareerBuilder. "

Some positions may require additional education or certifications while others may offer on the job training. It's important to keep an open mind and look for those opportunities that have good prospects both in the short-term and long-term."

  • 4 Ways to Tell If He's 'The One'

By Romance Recovery's Johanna Lyman for GalTime.com
Could he be 'the one'?Could he be 'the one'?

How do you know when you've found "The One?" Allow me to first dispel a common myth. Most of us have more than a single "The One" in our lives. With few exceptions, we will all experience more than one great love in our lives.

Each person who shows up as a great love is there to teach us a lesson (or two) and to bring us closer to unconditional love. Everyone who shows up as love in your life is one of your soul mates.

Another common myth is that you can discern true love within the first 3-6 months of a relationship. I'm sorry to say, it just ain't so. What you're feeling in the first 3-6 month (aka the honeymoon period) is a potent cocktail of hormones designed to make a man and a woman want to copulate to propagate the species.

It feels sexy, but it's really about the survival of the species. Please do yourselves and the population a big favor by not falling for it. I don't mean to sound negative. There are lots
