Yeah, I know, you're just getting used to the idea of spring and we're tossing fall clothing at you. The joys of publishing, while you're thinking of what you're gonna wear tomorrow, we're thinking of what you're gonna love in September. Yesterday, we (April Daniels Hussar-Executive Editor and me) toddled off into the rain to see Target's fall fashion preview for men, women and kids held at the Hudson Hotel's Bar. We saw fashion, accessories and beauty products from all of Target's brands: C9 by Champion, Converse One Star, Liz Lange, Merona, Mossimo Supply Co., Mossimo Black, Cherokee and Circo, along with product from Target's beauty brands, including JK Jemma Kidd, NP Set, Pixi, and Umberto Beverly Hills.

  • The Lost Marilyn Monroe Nude: How Norma Jeane's Pics Differ from Today's Stars'

Outtakes from Marilyn Monroe's last photo shoot-a nude one-can be seen in June's issue of Vanity Fair. Photographer Lawrence Schiller remembers the star.

"Fox should start paying as much attention to me as they are paying to Elizabeth Taylor."

So said Marilyn Monroe to photographer Lawrence Schiller in 1960-right before coming up with the most attention-grabbing idea she could imagine: A photo shoot which would involve her jumping into a swimming pool with a bathing suit on… and then coming up for air with it off. Yes, ladies and gents: Even Norma Jeane had nude photos. But the difference between hers and most of the celebrity nude photos that appear today is that Marilyn's were no accident.

The June issue of Vanity Fair contains an adaptation of Schiller's upcoming memoir, Marilyn and Me, including never-before-seen outtakes from the poolside shoot-and some previously unknown revelations about Marilyn's career in its last years. By

You know you're at a good party when you're muttering about your camera malfunctioning. Martha Stewart walks by, makes a sympathetic sound and says to you. "Oh, I know! They can be such a pain!"

    martha stewartmartha stewart

And what a party it was! Mickey Boardman, Todd Oldham, Emma Roberts, Sabina Soto, Giada de Laurentiis, Leelee Sobieski and January Jones (somehow I missed her-must've been a height thing) rubbed shoulders with editors, bloggers and stylists at the IAC building last night in New York City.

Music spun by Chelsea Layland got partiers moving. Although hearing "Gangster Paradise" in the midst of well-heeled and fed partiers seemed odd rather than hipster-ironic. Later on during the party there was a surprise performance by Wilson Phillips.

  • Have You Ever Seen a Tranquilized Bear Fall from a Tree?

No, seriously. Have you ever seen a tranquilized bear fall from a tree? Because a whole bunch of people at the University of Colorado Boulder just did.

    -Lucia Peters, BettyConfidential.com

    Tranquilized bear fallingTranquilized bear falling

This is a very serious question: Have you ever seen a tranquilized bear fall from a tree before? No? Well, now you have. See above.

True story: Last Thursday, a bear was spotted wandering around the University of Colorado Boulder campus (because apparently this is what happens when you go to school in Colorado). According to the University of Colorado's student-run newspaper, the CU Independent, the campus police department received a phone call around 8am that morning reporting the sighting. It seems that the bear had managed to climb up a tree near the CU dorms, where it stayed for roughly two and a half hours. At 10:17am, wildlife officials were able to tranquilize the bear-while it was still in the tree, mind you. The doped-up bear then fell from the tree safely onto some mats below

With expert advice from Marla Malcolm Beck, your feet will be gorgeous looking, smooth, sexy and ready for your favorite pair of sandals in no time!

    pretty feetpretty feet

Spring is finally here! Preparing your feet for flip flops and sandals is an essential, but fun task this time of year. We've got expert advice from Marla Malcolm Beck, co-founder of BlueMercury on how to make your feet look like they've never been stuffed in boots all winter long! Say hello to your favorite pair of slingbacks!

    1. Exfoliating is a MUST!

There's no better way to free your feet from dry, cracked skin than exfoliating. If you're wondering how often is too often, don't be afraid to scrub on a regular basis! Marla says, "The skin on the feet is very thick so you can exfoliate every day, but twice a week should be sufficient."

To get started Marla suggests dry exfoliating the built up, callused areas with a foot file first. "This helps to remove the outer layer of dead

  • Charlize Theron + More Celebs Who Were Fab or Drab at the Correspondents Dinner

Hollywood and the government collided on the red carpet at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner. Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian, Uggie the Dog ( yes!) and more rubbed shoulders with DC's elite.

Bettys, did the White House lose our invite to the "Nerd Prom," AKA the Annual White House Correspondents Dinner? We're only asking because if Lindsay Lohan and a dog could go, why couldn't we? We're as cute (maybe cuter) than Uggie the Dog, and with us, you don't have to worry about anything being "misplaced," if you know what I mean. Rather than sobbing over our monitors, however, we're giving you our list of who looked fab and who looked drab.

  • Uggie the Dog Has a Book Deal!

Uggie the Dog of 'The Artist' fame has just landed a book deal! Be sure to watch out for his memoir, Uggie: My Story, this fall!

    -Lucia Peters, BettyConfidential.com

    Uggie the DogUggie the Dog

The Artist's scene-stealing canine, Uggie the Dog, may technically be retired, but that doesn't mean that he's just sitting around twiddling his thumbs-or paws, as the case may be. In addition to having recently become Nintendo's newest spokesdog , the adorable Jack Russell terrier will soon be realizing his literary aspirations. That's right: Uggie has a book deal!

Last Friday, Simon & Schuster imprint Gallery Books announced that the rambunctious pooch will be releasing a memoir in October of this year. Entitled Uggie: My Story, the book will be transcribed by biographer Wendy Holden. We can only assume that Ms. Holden includes among her many talents the ability to speak fluent canine.

And Uggie most certainly has a tale to tell: He may be a big star now, but his early life was full of hardship. Having
