  • Charlize Theron Opens Up About New Motherhood to Ryan Seacrest

New mom Charlize Theron chatted with Ryan Seacrest on Friday about her favorite baby gadgets and more!

    -Lucia Peters,

    Charlize TheronCharlize Theron

Charlize Theron's announcement last week that she had adopted a baby boy may have taken the world by surprise, but boy, was it a pleasant one. Besides releasing one short statement, however, she kept pretty quiet all week. We understand why, of course; but that still didn't stop our insatiable curiosity from working overtime. But now we've got a little more to go on! Hoorah!

Charlize went on Ryan Seacrest's radio show last Friday to chat about new motherhood and how baby Jackson (who, by the way, is four months old) has changed her life. The most surprising thing, the actress said, was the outpouring of support from the public. "It's been amazing, the amount of emails and congratulations," she said; "Everyone's just been so lovely-it's been really nice." That support? Probably because we all think she's going to be a terrific mom!

  • Listen to Taylor Swift's Second 'Hunger Games' Song, "Eyes Open”

Taylor Swift debuted her new 'Hunger Games' song, "Eyes Open," on Saturday. Take a listen here!

    -Lucia Peters,

    Taylor SwiftTaylor Swift

As you may have noticed, we're in full Hunger Games mode here at BettyConfidential; we can't even TELL you how excited we are for the release of the movie this Friday. And lucky us, Taylor Swift has just let loose another one of the songs she's contributed to the soundtrack! Hoorah!

During a concert she played in Aukland, New Zealand on Saturday, Taylor debuted her second Hunger Games song, a track entitled "Eyes Open." Here, take a listen! The video's visuals aren't of the greatest quality-such is the nature of bootlegged concert recordings-but the audio sounds fine. The song starts about 30 seconds in.

    To be honest? I don't like this one quite as much as "Safe and Sound." This probably has something to do with the fact that it sounds a little more typically Taylor than the previous one, on which she collaborated with the Civil Wars;

  • George Clooney on the Sudan, His Arrest, Kony 2012, and More

After his arrest on Friday, George Clooney hit the Sunday talk show circuit to talk about the problems in the Sudan and more.

    -Lucia Peters,

    George ClooneyGeorge Clooney

It's doubtful that you missed this little tidbit, but just in case you did, George Clooney (actor by day, activist by night!) got arrested on Friday outside the Sudanese Embassy in Washington, DC during a protest intended to warn of a humanitarian crisis at the border between Sudan and South Sudan. It was a peaceful protest-no violence!-which consisted of George and the other protesters (including his father, journalist Nick Clooney) blocking the entrance to the embassy; after being given orders to disperse by the police three different times, the cops moved in and arrested the protesters.

Naturally, George took to the talk show circuit on Sunday to further voice his concerns and draw attention to the problems in the Sudan. Georgie has previously accused Sudanese president Omar al-Bashir, government official Ahmad

  • Are We Seriously Sending Ashton Kutcher to Space?

Heads up, everyone: Ashton Kutcher might be going to space soon with Virgin Galactic. Hey, at least it's not NASA!

    -Lucia Peters,

    Ashton KutcherAshton Kutcher

First, let me give you a moment to wrap your head around the fact that Virgin-yes, the conglomerate run by Richard Branson that includes Virgin Airways, Virgin Books, Virgin Media, Virgin Megastores, and eight million other properties-has a branch called Virgin Galactic that's geared towards marketing and operating commercial space flights.

Got that? Good. Now let me give you a moment to wrap your head around the fact that we're about to send Ashton Kutcher into space.

Seriously? Why the heck are we sending ASHTON KUTCHER, of all people, into space?!

Okay, okay, maybe I'm overreacting a little; it's not like he's about to go on a NASA mission or whatever. Richard Branson announced on his blog on Monday that Virgin Galactic just got its 500th future astronaut customer, and that that 500th astronaut customer is Ashton

  • First Look: Hugh Jackman's Drastic Makeunder for 'Les Miserables'

Um, Hugh Jackman? You're looking a little rough there. Are you okay? Oh, it's just a shot from the set of Les Miserables? Gotcha! Sing on!

    -Lucia Peters,

    Hugh JackmanHugh Jackman

We can all agree that Hugh Jackman is an extremely handsome man, right? Normally clean-cut and gentleman-like, he can also be a little more rugged if need be (hello, Wolverine!); but in either case, he usually looks quite well put-together and he rocks a tuxedo like no other.

Would it therefore surprise you if I told you that this picture here was of dear old Hugh?

    How about this one?

Hugh Jackman Les Mis 2Hugh Jackman Les Mis 2

He's looking a little rough, isn't he? But don't worry, he hasn't ACTUALLY become a scary, bald, bearded dude with a questionable sense of style. These are the first pics to emerge from the set of Les Miserables, the film adaptation of the musical based on Victor Hugo's classic novel. Set against the backdrop of 19th century France, Les Mis follows ex-con Jean Valjean (Hugh, of course) as he makes his way

  • Prepping Your Skin for Spring

Getting your skin ready for warmer weather is pampering at its finest!

    -Lora Condon,

woman putting on lotionwoman putting on lotion

Tight, dry and itchy are the three magic words referring to winter-bruised skin. There is only one cure for quenching your thirsty skin: water. Even if you're drinking more than a camel, your skin can still feel the effects of harsh wind, dry heat in buildings and less moisture in the cold air. Here are a few tips and tricks to recover your silky skin from the effects from the harsh winter months.

If you're not already drinking 64 ounces of water a day, start immediately. Cut down on the coffee, carbonated drinks, wine and tea. Even though coffee and tea are perfect drinks to warm the body, they also dehydrate the skin immediately. I also recommend eating water based food like cucumbers, celery and fruit to give the skin extra hydration.

The next step is exfoliation. I recommend a very gentle acid peel or rice powder and rinsing with tepid

  • First Look: Daniel Radcliffe as Allen Ginsberg in 'Kill Your Darlings'

Daniel Radcliffe goes from wizardry to beat poetry as Allen Ginsberg in his next film, Kill Your Darlings. First look here!
    -Lucia Peters,

Daniel Radcliffe Allen GinsbergDaniel Radcliffe Allen Ginsberg

So far in his post-Potter career, Daniel Radcliffe has been spreading his net far and wide: He's battled a ghost (The Woman in Black), become a sketch comedian (SNL), and put on his singing, dancing, businessman hat (How to Succeed on Broadway). And now? He's stepping into the world of beat poetry-and into some famous shoes while he's at it.

Above is the first image to surface of Daniel as Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings, an indie film currently shooting in Brooklyn that tells the story of beat legends Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and Lucien Carr-and the 1944 murder of Carr's former English teacher, David Kammerer, the trial that followed, and Carr's subsequent imprisonment.

    Heavy stuff.

I have to say, I'm enjoying the career choices Dan has been making since the end of Potter; he's taking a lot of risks,
