  • Tina Fey, JLo and More: The Best Dressed Celebs at the 2012 Oscars

It's the usual suspects: Natalie Portman, Cameron Diaz, Michelle Williams and the rest of the women who looked fantastic at the 84th Academy Awards.

The Artist and The Help went head to head in almost every category at the Oscars last night. And who won Best Actress? Meryl Streep! She wasn't in either of the aforementioned movies, but she did portray Margaret Thatcher (beautifully, in my opinion) in Iron Lady.

Pastel shades were the hot trend of the night, though a few celebs like Natalie Portman, Tina Fey and Leslie Mann bucked the trend. And in a sea of pale frothy creations they stood out in the very best way.

But enough with the boring analysis! Let's get on to the good stuff… who wore it best!

    Jennifer Lopez

Wowza! Jennifer Lopez wears Zuhair Murad a lot on the red carpet and she was a knock-out in his ivory beaded gown. I seemed to have missed the boob sitch (I was probably looking for a chip to munch on when it

  • Taylor Swift Asks Cancer Patient to Be Her Date to the ACM Awards

She couldn't go to his prom, but Taylor Swift still scores major points for asking cancer patient Kevin McGuire to the ACM Awards.

    -Lucia Peters, BettyConfidential.com

    Taylor SwiftTaylor Swift

Kevin McGuire is 18 years old, and he lives in south Jersey. When he was 13, he was diagnosed with leukemia. After years of chemo, pills, spinal taps, and bone marrow screenings, he finally won the battle on April 24, 2010. Throughout his treatment, Kevin stayed positive, played basketball, and started varsity football as a freshman. He also really likes Taylor Swift. But Kevin recently had a relapse and is currently fighting cancer for the second time, which is why his older sister, Victoria, started a campaign dedicated to getting Taylor Swift to go to Kevin's senior prom with him.

Taylor, unfortunately, isn't available the day of the prom; however, because she's a total sweetheart, she did him one better: She asked him to be her date to the American Country Music Awards.

    All together now: Awwwwww!

  • Adam Sandler Makes Razzie Award Nomination History (Complete List!)

The Razzie nominations for this year are out, and gee, did Adam Sandler clean up or what?

    -Lucia Peters, BettyConfidential.com

Adam Sandler Jack and JillAdam Sandler Jack and Jill

Man. Adam Sandler really has to stop making mediocre movies. The nominations for the world-famous Razzie Awards were announced this weekend, and between Jack and Jill, Bucky Larson, and Just Go With It, Adam racked up a new record for Most Razzie Nominations in a Single Year: 11. ELEVEN Razzie nominations? That's more than twice the previous record of noms held by a single person (Eddie Murphy) in any given year (2007)! Whatever happened to the days of Punch Drunk Love? Sigh.

Anyhoo, for those of you not in the know, the Razzies, more accurately known as the Golden Raspberry Awards, were founded in 1980 as an antidote to the hullabaloo and arrogance of awards season. Instead of honoring great achievements in filmmaking, the Razzies recognize the absolute worst in filmmaking. As you might imagine, they are absolutely HILARIOUS. Though traditionally

  • Mean Betty: Paris Hilton's Desperate Measures for Fame

Does anyone care that Paris has a new (clean) video out or has been at tons of awards shows?

    -Mean Betty, BettyConfidential.com

    Paris HiltonParis Hilton

Poor, poor Paris Hilton! Meanie feels oh, so very sorry for the poor lambkins. There was a point where the hotel heiress seemed to be everywhere. She and her then-BFF Nicole Richie had a hit show (The Simple Life, in case you expunged it from your brain), she was trailed by the paps daily, and Paris raked in loads of money for appearing at clubs, parties and events --preferably accompanied by a panti-less starlet such as LiLo or Britney.

Although Miss Hilton's "acting" didn't get her anywhere and her "music" was, to say the least, laughable, Paris was astute enough to trade on her fame to create fragrances, jewelry, shoes and accessories. It's those endeavors that are keeping her in Bentleys, but not in the limelight.

No, dearies, Kim Kardashian and her kin, pregnant teens and crazed Housewives have taken over the stage to the point where

  • Is 'The Dictator' Star Sacha Baron Cohen Getting Banned from the Oscars?

Rumor has it that Sacha Baron Cohen wants to attend the Oscars as his character from The Dictator-and that the Academy is considering banning him from the event for it. What's going on here?

    -Lucia Peters, BettyConfidential.com

    The DictatorThe Dictator

Sacha Baron Cohen is well-known for the stunts he pulls during his public appearances. Who could forget his arrival at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival as Borat riding in a wagon pulled by "Kazakhstani peasant women?" Or that time that he attended the 2009 MTV VMAs as Bruno? Classic. Since he's got this kind of track record, it shouldn't really come as a surprise that with the release of his next film, The Dictator, so close on the horizon, he'd want to attend at least one show during awards season as the movie's titular dictator character, General Admiral Alladeen. However, it raised more than a few eyebrows when it was discovered that the show at which he wanted to pull this stunt was none other than the holy grail of awards season: The

Dorothy's ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz have found a new home at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences-thanks to Leonardo DiCaprio!

    -Lucia Peters, BettyConfidential.com

    Ruby slippersRuby slippers

There's no place like home, especially for Dorothy Gale's ruby slippers as worn by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz-and now, thanks to Leonardo DiCaprio, they've found a new one! The slippers have recently been acquired by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and will eventually be on display at the upcoming Academy Museum.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Academy CEO Dawn Hudson gave the credit for finding the slippers to Leo in a statement on Wedenesday: "Leo's passionate leadership has helped us bring home this legendary piece of movie history. It's a wonderful gift to the Academy museum project, and a perfect representation of the work we do year-round to preserve and share our film heritage." So what exactly did Leo do to earn this glowing review? He led the group of
