    Weekends are meant for relaxing-and, for many, relaxing their diets. With happy hour Friday, a party Saturday, brunch Sunday, and movies, dinners out, errands (hello, drive-through), and more thrown into the mix, even the healthiest eater finds it hard to stay on track. Unfortunately all that excess-in the form of carbs, fat, salt, sugar, and alcohol-can leave you feeling bloated, tired, hungry, and guilty. So come Monday, give your body what it's craving to help reestablish a healthy equilibrium. This four-day plan is filled with nourishing foods high in vitamins, minerals, fiber, and other nutrients to offset whatever happened over the weekend. It's not a free pass to go whole-hog on days off, but it will help lessen the impact when you've overdone it.

And don't expect it to go away anytime soon-market research firm Mintel predicts the $10.5 billion dollar industry will skyrocket 48 percent to $15.6 billion in sales by 2016.

    Great for the 1 in 133 Americans who have celiac disease and the additional 18 million who have non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS), a gluten intolerance. Both must avoid gluten-the protein found in grains such as wheat, barley, triticale, and rye-or suffer bloating, gas, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, and other stomach woes.

    But for the other 93 percent of the population, "there really is no reason to eliminate gluten from your diet," says Laura Moore, R.D., director of the dietetic internship program at the University of Texas School of Public Health in El Paso.     It's moments like these that make us love watching the Olympics: Yesterday, 31-year-old Russian figure skater Evgeni Plushenko, a four-time Olympian who won gold in the first-ever team event earlier this week, tweaked his back doing a triple axel during the warm-up right before his scheduled short program performance.     The Tour de France, the world's most prestigious pro cycling race, is no longer just for men. The Amaury Sport Organization (ASO), the owners of the annual three-week-long event that started in 1903, announced this weekend that they will be offering a one-day women's race called La Course on July 27, the final day of this year's Tour de France.

    The big gender-barrier-breaking news came on the heels of receiving a petition with nearly 100,000 online signatures from Le Tour Entier, an organization of women racers, including Olympic gold medalist Marianne Vos and retired Ironman triathlon champion Chrissie Wellington, who launched a campaign for a women's Tour de France last September.

    You can't please everyone, but you can please yourself.You can't please everyone, but you can please yourself.We've all been there: You have dinner plans with a friend, but a project blows up at work and you have to stay late. Or there's a birthday party, but you're so sick you can't even crawl off the couch. Whatever the reason, you have to cancel plans-and you feel horrible doing so.

    That reaction is called "friend guilt," and experts say it's on the rise. "Friend guilt is increasingly common among 20-somethings," says Carlin Flora, a friendship expert and author of Friendfluence: The Surprising Ways Friends Make Us Who We Are.

    "No matter what they do, they feel like they're not being a good enough friend." There's always someone you "should" be calling, a happy hour you "should" be attending, or an email you "should" have replied to long ago-or so you think. New research shows that a startling number of reproductive-age women still need to be clued-in about the basics of reproductive health. A study published in the January 27 issue of Fertility & Sterility found that about 50 percent of reproductive-age women had never discussed their reproductive health with a medical provider and about 30 percent visited their reproductive health provider less than once a year or never.

    The study was conducted by researchers at Yale School of Medicine and is based on an anonymous online survey conducted in March 2013 of 1,000 women between the ages of 18 and 40 representing all ethnic and geographic regions of the U.S. The research includes the following major findings about women's understanding of fertility and pregnancy:
