Logo has announced a new reality show titled "RuPaul's Drag Race." Everyone's favorite diva will serve as host, mentor and judge a la Tyra Banks on America's Next Top Model. "Tell Tyra that the Queen has returned, and while you're at it have Heidi clear the runway," says RuPaul. "I'm going to pump some 'realness' into reality. To be a winner on this show the contestants need to be a fashion designer, an American Idol, and a Top Model all rolled up into one. And they definitely have to be smarter than a fifth grader."
On the one-hour episodes, each contestant with the help of one stylist or friend will compete to become America's next superstar drag queen. Online voters will help select one cast member on RuPaulsDragRace.com. "RuPaul's history-making turn as a groundbreaking glamour sensation opened the door for a new generation of drag superstars," said Brian Graden, president of MTV Networks Music Group Entertainment and Logo. "We hope to find the next one."
We think we can already

With on-and-off musical, TV and film success in the 60s, 70s and 80s, we figured all the ups and downs had taken their toll on Cher. Then on her 23rd (!!!) album in 1998, she landed her biggest hit ever with the Grammy award winning "Believe." And now? She's holed up in Vegas. But hey, at least there she can wear all the Bob Mackie she needs! Flavor Flav - VH1

Make no mistake-when new mom Halle Berry wore an engagement ring on her wedding finger to an event this weekend, she knew what she was doing. "It's not an engagement ring," says an insider, claiming it was not in fact a gift from boyfriend/baby daddy Gabriel Aubry. "Halle just saw it and thought it was beautiful so she bought it for herself." We're all for women buying themselves lavish gifts, but as anyone with five brain cells knows, throwing a diamond on your finger makes people talk! Ladies of Hollywood, take note. If you're lacking US Weekly covers lately, go get yourself a rock, wear it to Starbucks and let the whispers get going. When people ask if you're engaged, say "no comment" to perpetuate gossip. And what if you are actually engaged? Make like Beyonce and DON'T wear your ring to keep the did-they-or-didn't-they wedding rumors floating around. [People]

Read More »from Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon: The baby countdown begins!
Seeing as this couple took only one month of getting to know each other to marry, we're giving the newlyweds 30 days to announce there's a baby on the way. Evidently, one of Carey's assistants called L.A. baby boutique Petit Tresor (they just did J.Lo's twins' room) regarding fabric samples to dec out a new butterfly-themed nursery. Not so shocking right? Think of all the butterfly and Hello Kitty paraphernalia she must have laying around the house. Better hope she has a girl! Mariah's faithful manager, Benny Medina, says no way in heck is she knocked up. But hey, isn't that what preggers Ashlee Simpson said a few weeks ago? We have to admit, a lot of work went into her newly toned bod, and Mariah did say she wasn't up for kids anytime soon, but with her new hubby and a penchant for pink, we see a baby girl in her very near future!
Do you think the couple is baby-bound? [NY Daily News]

Read More »from Lindsay Lohan steals coats, but does she steal boyfriends too?
Just last week we blogged about Lindsay swiping some girl's fur coat at a NYC club. Now comes news that she was cuddling up to Nicole Richie's boyfriend/baby daddy, Joel Madden, at an L.A. Cinco de Mayo party while Nicole was home tending to four-month-old daughter Harlow. Joel was supposed to be deejaying, but found quite the distraction in Lohan. "Their heads were practically touching, and he had his leg over hers," says one party onlooker. "Joel has a flirtatious side, and he definitely wasn't turning her away."
Thankfully Nicole's BFF was looking out, and quickly alerted her pal with a frantic text message: "Lindsay was all over Joel!" Nicole tried to call her man, but "he was so zeroed in on Lindsay, he never heard his cell ring," says a friend of the couple. "Nicole felt so incredibly helpless and upset that she threw her phone against the wall in a rage."
Yikes! Nicole and Lindsay used to be buddies! Do you think Lohan was making a move or just being friendly? [Star]

Just days before her younger sister Ashlee's wedding, Jessica Simpson and her quarterback boyfriend, Tony Romo, have broken up. Many thought Jessica was a jinx to the Dallas Cowboys, as Tony performance was subpar and the team lost whenever she attended games.
Does this couple belong together or is it time for their luck to change? [TMZ]

Vince Bucci/Getty Images"I can't say it was a total accident," says Jessica Alba of her pregnancy, "Because you're aware of when you're being careful and when you're not. It just happened so soon. I never believed women had to be virgins when they got married, or that a woman has to fall in love with a guy just because they're having sex. I don't think sex is a big deal."
Is it just us, or do stars seem to not believe in birth control? How do you view Jessica's stance on sex? [NY Daily News]

Stephen Lovekin/Getty ImagesDon't anybody try to pull one over on Drew-her days as a Charlie's Angel are not soon forgotten. Monday morning the actress was driving through West Hollywood when a car rear-ended her and drove off. Was Ms. Barrymore gonna let them get away with it? Heck no! She took off after the hit-and-runner and tailed them until she could jot down their plate number. [E!]

The comedic force known as Catherine O'Hara is in talks to star in a new ABC dramedy pilot called Good Behavior from Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas. O'Hara will play the matriarch of a family of criminals who decides to go legit after the husband lands in prison-sounds highly engaging, and we're thrilled at the idea of getting to watch her regularly.
A star who got her start on Canada's famous Second City TV (Eugene Levy, John Candy, Rick Moranis), we first fell in love with Catherine as the eccentric mom in 1988's Beetle Juice. While her memorable turns in Home Alone, Nightmare Before Christmas (she voiced Sally), and HBO's series Six Feet Under, it's Christopher Guest's series of documentaries that have made O'Hara a bonafide star. Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show and A Mighty Wind wouldn't be the same without her genius comedic timing, willingness to take risks and let's not forget her hilarious vocal prowess. We love you, Catherine! Glad you're finally getting the recognition
