The epicurean world has been getting much more appreciation and recognition within the past few years than ever before, with many chefs becoming celebrities in their own right. Some have been launched into the television spotlight due to their abrasive and entertaining personalities, while others have created an empire of published books and merchandise. All of this success leads to some huge paychecks and thanks to Forbes, we now know America's highest-earning chefs, with many raking in a global income of anywhere from eight million to $38 million.

It should be no surprise to anyone that Gordon Ramsay makes the top of the list. His larger-than-life personality may be coarse, but that only makes us love him more. The 45-year-old reportedly earns $38 million globally, most known for being the Hell's Kitchen host and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, where he enters failing restaurants and screams the kitchen crew into shape. While he does own 23 restaurants

Aerin Lauder should know a thing or two about beauty - after all, she is the granddaughter of luxury cosmetics pillar Estée Lauder. Lucky for us, the beauty buff is putting her experience of growing up surrounded by experts to good use by releasing her own beauty line under her grandmother's label. AERIN by Estée Lauder is in its first stages, but we expect the line will flourish with Aerin's knowledge and expertise.

  • Victoria Beckham Collection Adds Optical Eyewear

It seems like Victoria Beckham just won't back down from fashion news- not that we want her to. The Spice Girl-turned superstar wife and fashion mogul has recently announced that she's adding a line of optical eyewear to her repertoire. After starting a collection of sunglasses in 2010, the step towards prescription eyeglasses seems like a natural one, especially considering the posh designer is near-sighted herself.

"I do need to wear glasses- [but] I haven't found glasses that suit me or that I particularly like," Beckham told WWD. "I've always been quite self-conscious [about this], so that's why I've decided to do them myself," she said of her new collection, which will be a nice addition to her fashion empire that also includes a denim line, kid's clothes and a fragrance. The spectacles will come in six styles with three color options. Beckham chose UK-based luxury eyewear company Cutler & Gross as her

Dylan George and Abbot + Main have launched their new Fall 2012 fashion campaign, California Dreaming. The Southern California inspired collection stars Twilight Saga actor Kellan Lutz, returning once again as the face of the brand, and model Kate Upton. With the campaign photo shoot on the famous Venice Beach, the line effortlessly brings to life the exuberance and excitement of California youth, while maintaining that sense of high fashion that Dylan George is known for.

Shot by noted fashion photographer Yu Tsai, the portfolio of images are beautifully framed before a setting sun, with light filtering through the warm ocean mist. The atmosphere is the perfect relaxed setting for such a light and effortless collection. Paired with the gorgeous campaign photos is a lush video that shows Lutz and Upton breezing through Venice beach in a Vespa and vintage Mustang convertible.

Co-designer of Dylan George's 2011 line, Lutz couldn't be more excited for

The discrete movement from theory to practice sounds like the beginning of a philosophical treatise, not a story on an artisanal food sourcing journey. But the popular, yet still edgy locovore/farm-to-table idea did indeed become real when I went on a food sourcing journey, with Executive Chef John Murcko, from Canyons in Park City Utah.

I have written about Canyons Park City for JustLuxe before, as it is an enclave combining five major ski resorts. Executive Chef John Murcko is Vice President of Culinary Services for Canyons Resorts and for Talisker, a high-end club/community that includes Park City resort neighborhoods. Chef Murcko was a semi-finalist for James Beard Best Chef Award 2012 and winner of the 2012 Salt Lake Magazine's Best Chef In Utah.

He asked me and food journalists to travel to Northern Utah with him, and explore some small, artisanal food purveyors. Then, the next

  • Carven Offers Fun, Ready to Wear Fashion for Summer 2012

At a time when haute couture ruled the fashion scene, Carven was giving women approachable pieces with couture quality to fit their everyday lives. In 1945, Madame Carmen de Tommaso began the luxury brand, creating very relaxed, ready-to-wear clothing with a Parisian point of view featuring pops of color, clever details, and always a feminine air.

The spirit of Carven's couture days can be seen in today's designs through rich textiles and inspired, but accessible items that women can be seen working, playing, and relaxing in.

The Summer 2012 line is a great example of how Carven can take a woman from day to night, or from the office to the beach in one collection.

Colors in Summer 2012 run the gamut from cobalt blues, black and white, to pink, mustard and camel. With shorts, crop tops, baby doll dresses, skirts, and jackets among the items on offer, Carven

Rodrigo Otazu, a native Argentinian who is famed among luxury jewelry designers, is collaborating with pop star Lady Gaga to create a visionary line of jewelry. Ever since she stepped on the scene Lady Gaga has been revered for her iconic fashion sense and outrageous style. Together with Otazu and creative director Nicola Formichetti, Lady Gaga will help to create a film for the Paris Fashion Week runway.

Gaga will be outfitted in top fashion design and luxury accessories, custom made by Otazu, during the film which is rumored to feature a sub-Saharan post-apocalyptic type terrain. However, this is not the first time the three have collaborated. In 2010, Formicetti, Gaga, and Otazu constructed Gaga's controversial meat dress. Otazu designed the bedazzled beef clutch and other jewelry for the outfit.
