  • Barry's Bootcamp Launches Line at Bloomingdale's

    by Sara Angle

Courtesy of Bloomingdales/Barry's BootcampCourtesy of Bloomingdales/Barry's BootcampYou love Barry's Bootcamp for its sweatastic workout. Now you can rep BB outside of the studio with its new lifestyle and performance collections that just hit select Bloomingdale's stores in New York, California and Florida. The nine-piece line includes four sweatshirts (the one pictured above is the softest thing I own!), two capri leggings, a tank, a tee and a fashion-forward studded sweatshirt muscle tank.

I tread-tested a pair of the capri leggings and the sweat-wicking tank in a killer Barry's sesh last week and thought the technical pieces held up well with total coverage (read: no slippage) during the popular treadmill-to-weights intervals; afterward, I slipped on the zip-up hoodie to stay toasty warm.

  • NYFW's Top Beauty Trend Happens to Be a SELF Staffer Favorite: The Low Ponytail!

    by Alexandra Samuel

Alberto Uso/Getty ImagesAlberto Uso/Getty Images New York Fashion week is over and somehow, despite the constant snow and impending frost bite, the beauty gurus backstage churned out some seriously lust worthy styles that almost (almost) makes me want to fast forward to next Fall.

The trend we spotted literally everywhere was the pony -- specifically, the low pony. Whether you like it side parted and sleek like the models at Vivienne Tam and Band of Outsiders, or minimal and middle-parted like at Derek Lam, Victoria Beckhma, Hugo Boss and Honor (you know, just to name a few), the low pony was everywhere.

But here's the thing: Not only is this trend majorly chic (and wearable now, unlike the clothing seen during the week of shows), it's also a workout favorite. That's right: This beauty trend also has serious fitness benefits. Charles Baker Strahan, a celebrity stylist for Herbal Essences, explains why it works for the gym so well: "Because the weight of your hair

    - Suck It In: New tightening creams, like StriVectin-TL Tightening Face Cream, are like Spanx for your face. Apply as a first step premakeup, and a network of botanical complex sugars will pull skin in. Effects are immediate but temporary, says Elizabeth Tanzi, M.D., a derm in Washington, D.C.

    - Deflate Fast: Trace your T-zone with a skin-matching liquid foundation, such as Marc Jacobs Beauty Genius Gel Super-Charged Foundation, then blend outward with a base two shades darker. The perimeter will recede, drawing the eye to the lighter middle, so your face appears narrow, says Joanna Schlip, a Physicians Formula makeup artist in L.A.

The food I love so much that if I dropped it on the floor, I'd eat it anyway is a nacho. I fry the chips myself. Just take a tortilla, cut it into triangles, and throw 'em in coconut oil.

My ultimate stress reliever is exercise! And actually meditation. I do that for 20 minutes every day.

The one song that gets me moving without fail is "White Lines," that old rap song. I made a playlist of all those awesome songs from Jimmy Fallon's "History of Rap."

My postworkout beauty ritual is wiping my skin. I always use Aveeno [she's a spokeswoman] Ultra Calming Wipes--they're easy if you aren't near a sink.

If I could trade bodies with one person for 24 hours, I'd pick Would I really want to give it back? I'd love to be able to ski like a crazy person, like Lindsey Vonn. Then I'd also like to have Gisele's body, just 'cuz, why not?

I know I can beat anyone in Concentration. That's a

  • "About Last Night" Actress Regina Hall's Kickass Cardio Secret? a Trampoline!

    by Thailan Pham

WireImageWireImageWe'll just come out and say it -- we're more than a little bit jealous of Regina Hall right now! Her figure is flat-out smokin', she gets to act out some hilariously crazy sex scenes in her new movie, About Last Night, and her character, Joan, is sexy as hell.

"[Joan]'s a bit of a wild card," says Hall. "She's much more of a free spirit. It's so fun to play a character that you can find within yourself but isn't necessarily how you live."

The movie, which hits theaters today, doesn't hold back when it comes girl talk and relationships. "[It shows] how women talk when men aren't around!" says Hall. "There are a lot of laughs!"

One part that'll elicit a belly-aching snort -- a treadmill scene shot with co-star Joy Bryant that shows girlfriends in all their competitive glory.

In real life, Hall's very disciplined about logging treadmill time and strengthening her core with Pilates. And when she wants to spice up

  • Best Menu Options at Dairy Queen--Some Might Surprise You!

    by Sarah-Jane Bedwell, R.D.

Arthur BelebeauArthur BelebeauDairy Queen's latest commercial's tout that they "make fan food, not fast food." However, DQ's fare isn't exactly made for health-food fans. However, since all types of food can be enjoyed in moderation (and heck, should be!), here are some recommendations for occasionally enjoying your fave hot eats and cool treats from DQ.

    - Should I Have the Mini Banana Split Blizzard or Small Chocolate Dipped Cone? The answer may surprise you: While these two treats are fairly close in their respective calorie counts (290 for the mini Blizzard vs. 330 for the dipped cone), the dipped cone has nearly double the fat, and 12 of those fat grams are saturated. The Mini Banana Split Blizzard is a smarter choice since it has fruit-based mix-ins rather than fudge, helping to yield a more reasonable total of 5 grams of fat.

  • Don't Throw Away Those Roses After Valentine's Day, Give Yourself a DIY Facial Instead

    by Alexandra Samuel

Bill DiodatoBill DiodatoHappy Valentines Day!! Whether you feel like celebrating or not, there are roses everywhere. And, while the stems aren't my all-time favorite flower, I secretly cross my fingers that I'll get a few because they are so ridiculously good for your skin. (Confession: If I don't get a dozen, I totally buy them during the post-Valentines sales.)

Roses are not only super soothing and super nourishing, but they've got built-in-toners to get you glowing. I mean, throwing them out when they start to wilt is like tossing out a gift certificate for a facial. Here's my secret to making the most of your bouquet:

See more: Slim Down in 14 Days!

Drop a bouquet of rose petals into a big bowl, top with almost-boiling water, lean over the bowl and (carefully!) tent your head with a towel for as long as you can stand it, but no more than ten minutes or so.

Then, if I'm feeling extra decadent (because #TreatYoSelf, right?), I take those the water-soaked buds and make a

Courtesy of Sports IllustratedCourtesy of Sports IllustratedLast year, the cover sizzled with Kate Upton's "polar bare" curves.

This year, Sports Illustrated decided to celebrate the Swimsuit Issue's 50th Anniversary with this beachy trio from left, Victoria's Secret's Angels Nina Agdal and Llily Aldridge plus Chrissy Teigen all in teeny 'kini bottoms.

Think SI got it right with the triple threat cover?

It's not the first time the mag has let three models take the lead -- Elle MacPherson, Rachel Hunter and Kathy Ireland posed together in 1994.

We gotta say, we're seriously body crushing on Nina, Lily, and Chrissy -- come on, what do you think life would be like if you were lucky enough to have any of these three's perfectly toned tushes?

Wouldn't you, too, casually walk cheek in hand with your two best buds topless in the water?

    Us too, natch.

And should you want to watch the full reveal, Jimmy Kimmel formally unveiled the cover on his program last week.

  • The Secret to All-Day Energy? Jump Start Your Morning Routine

You snooze, you lose--literally. Our panel of SELF editors and health pros share their favorite AM habits.
    by Devin Tomb

Here's the thing: your comforter doesn't want you to have more energy during the day. It wants you to sleep in and warm up, and if it keeps you super cozy too, you can call it a seriously overachieving blanket. And while we fully believe in getting a good night's rest, here at SELF, mornings are our jam. Seriously! Productive early hours always seem to start us off on the right foot, and help us power through whatever we have going on that day. And we're not the only early birds; in the super-buzzy book, "What the Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast," Laura Vanderkam finds out what it's like to be a person who ignores the snooze button. We liked this concept so much that we grilled a panel of morning people (a.k.a. SELF editors and health experts) on their tried-and-true AM routines. (Spoiler alert: almost everyone starts the day off with a glass -- or 2!

  • Get a Flat Belly like Lindsey Vonn

    by SELF Staffers

    David GubertDavid Gubert
Even though Vonn's not out in Sochi on the slopes, we'd do anything for her fit figure. Thankfully, she shared her flat-abs secret. Do 3 sets of 10 reps of this toner to score abs that look great in a tight ski suit (or anywhere).

Beginner: Stand with feet wide, knees soft. Toss a 6-pound medicine ball back and forth to a partner 4 to 6 feet away.

See more: Slim Down in 14 Days!

Intermediate: Same as above, but stand on a BOSU.

Pro (Vonn-style): You're on the BOSU, but before you toss the ball, draw a horizontal figure eight in the air with the ball, arms outstretched, keeping abs engaged and body upright.
