Visit for more ideas, recipes, and reviews.

Doughnuts are definitely seen as a diet busting dish and for good reason too, because they are after all cooked in oil. If you do not wish to use the unhealthy version, try out this version and I promise it will remind you of your old favorites. These doughnuts are both fluffy and satisfying at the same time because they are more of a quick bread than anything. You could need some special equipment if you don't have a 3 inch cookie cutter but you can buy one for less than a dollar; if you are already a savvy shopper and own a doughnut baking pan this would probabbly be the best time to use it. The toppings are really up to you of course, but some great ideas could be confectioners sugar combined with some cocoa sprinkled over the top of them. The glazes really take away the healthy aspect of the doughnuts because they are butter and sugar after all. Let me know what you guys think of this recipe, I hope you love it

This is just a fun recipe for whenever you already have the grill turned on for your BBQ and are just finishing up that last burger. These quesadillas are super easy to make and don't require any special equipment to make them like some other recipes do. This recipe is actually one of my favorites to make because it is so simple yet delicious at the same time.

    • Nonstick cooking spray (Pam for the grill)
    • 2 (10-inch) flour tortillas
    • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    • 1 medium banana, thinly slice

I'm not quite sure how many people were watching America's Next Great Restaurant but I was and it was pretty interesting to see the different viewpoints and change of opinions about the food. The change of opinions I'm referring to are the ones that Curtis Stone had of being able to create a soul food style restaurant that was actually healthy. Bobby Flay on the other hand felt that if fried chicken wasn't on the menu that the place would be a total failure and that America wants to continue its fattening life-style of eating whatever the fast food chain is offering.

With new restaurants like Chipotle coming out each month I thought that the winner would surely be Spice Coast; given the fact that the owner of Chipotle is going to create an Asian inspired menu of Chipotle. He either stole the idea from the owner of Spice Coast or they have a deal on the side that no one knows about. On the show there seemed to be

And their off! to the kitchen that is. The smell of these cookies will have them galloping to the oven to check out that awesome smell. If you are planning on having a party to watch the Kentucky Derby or are just wanting a chance to make some awesome cookies then this is the recipe for you. I know you're asking your-self, what exactly would make anything Kentucky? the answer is the Kentucky bourbon inside of them. Perhaps this could just be another excuse to use alcohol in cooking but it really does play well with the chocolate chips. So if you're hosting a party or not go ahead and give this recipe a try, and let me know how it turns out for you. My guess is that it will be incredible. Recipe yields about 20 cookies.

This is a simple recipe to make in a short amount of time for almost any occasion. If you are from Wisconsin or just enjoy eating cheese this will be a pleaser for you and anyone else. You could use whichever spices and herbs you enjoy the most, so perhaps experimenting with 1 straw for each different item would be a great way to start. This is just the simple recipe if you just want to enjoy the flavor of great cheese. This is perhaps not one of the more healthier options, but if you want to have something to cheat on your diet with this would be a great option. These cheese straws could actually take place of your next meal where you would normally use breadsticks; so try these at your next spaghetti dinner. If you have tried making cheese straws before, let me know if you make these and how they compare.

    • 1 1/2 cups coarsely grated extra-sharp Cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour

This is just our take on the burrito test so let me know what you think is the best burrito on the market.

What we liked most about this burrito was that even though it was missing the meat, it still had a lot of bold flavor from the vegetables. The peppers, rice, beans, and corn really made for a substantial burrito that left us feeling full and satisfied way into our next meal. This burrito is starting to show up on more store shelves as well so if you can find it, we suggest you go ahead and give it a try.

In the new era of companies wanting to become more health conscious it still amazes me that some restaurants are introducing new food just to be "crazy" or "out there". I really think they are just doing it to be obnoxious and get free press, but the said thing is that it's working. I have corralled up some new and existing extremely crazy and un-healthy food options at some of the most popular chain's in America.
