    If you're unfamiliar with this stuff, you're not alone. Lavash is a soft, thin Middle Eastern flatbread typically found in the bakery section or ethnic foods aisle of the supermarket. When cut into squares and baked in a 425-degree oven for a few minutes, it becomes an amazing chip swap. Our favorite thing to dip the chips in? Salsa mixed with fat-free plain Greek yogurt... creamy with a kick! Just remember to check the stats. The large ones should have about 100 calories, and the super-large ones should have about 200 calories. A serving is typically half of one, so read those nutrition labels carefully.

    Egg-Mug Mania

    All you need is a large coffee mug, nonstick spray, a few simple ingredients, and a microwave, and you can have a hearty breakfast for one. First spray your mug so your breakfast doesn't stick to it. (You'll want every last bite!) Then add 1/2 cup of fat-free liquid egg substitute, like Egg Beaters Original -- no messy egg-cracking involved! Microwave for about a minute and stir. Add your guilt-free goodies of choice -- we like light cheese wedges (like the kinds by The Laughing Cow), chopped extra-lean deli meats, precooked real crumbled bacon, and even hot sauce. Microwave for another 45 seconds to a minute, until just set, and you're good to go. If you're heading out the door, try stuffing the contents of your mug into a high-fiber pita. So delicious and portable!

    Sure, Cap'n Crunch doesn't appear to be super-sugary. But looks can be deceiving -- 12 grams of sugar per serving is actually pretty high for kids' cereals these days. A much better option is Kashi's Honey Sunshine cereal. Each 3/4-cup serving has HALF the sugar and packs a nice amount of fiber (5 grams) and protein (2 grams). Not to mention, it's all-natural and features seven whole grains. And the taste is very similar to Cap'n Crunch. Go, Kashi!

    Some-Assembly-Required Sandwiches

    Tired of soggy sandwiches? The secret is to keep the filling in a separate container and then assemble your sandwich at lunch. Instead of going with a tuna salad sandwich, try switching things up a bit with salmon salad. Just mix 3 oz. of pouched boneless skinless pink salmon with some Hellmann's/Best Foods Dijonnaise (a mayo-mustard combo), and stuff it in a high-fiber pita. You can also add some lemon juice, quartered grape tomatoes, chopped cucumber, red onion, and salt and pepper. If salmon's not your thing, mix 2.5 oz. of albacore tuna (packed in water, and then drained) with 3 tbsp. of salsa, and spread it on two large rice cakes. So delicious and totally guilt-free!
