    We're not going to tell you to skip the chocolates, red wine, and indulgent dinner this Valentine's Day. But here are some fun ways to burn off the calories!

    Start the day with an early morning hike. Hit the trails for 45 minutes, and you'll burn about 320 calories... Reason enough to order the steak for dinner!

    Looking for a fun pre-dinner activity? Go dancing with your date. A mix of slow and fast dancing for an hour will help you burn about 250 calories. That'll easily afford you two glasses of red wine for the night.

    If you're having a crowd over for the Super Bowl, you'll probably be ordering in some standard game-day grub. Here are a few tips from Hungry Girl on how to indulge without fumbling your diet...


    PIZZA

    There are a few cardinal rules to remember.

    1. Thin crust is your friend. Save carby calories... you won't miss 'em!

    2. Load your up pie with fresh veggies. They will help you feel fuller and will add far fewer calories than all the crazy meats out there.

    3. Go easy on the cheese. Or order a saucy cheese-less pie, if you dare. Light or no cheese will save you LOTS of calories and grams of fat.

    4. Super-greasy pizza? Grab those napkins. Blot off the extra oil. No one's watching you... All eyes are on the TV screen. It's worth it. Trust us!


    And if you feel pressured to get the decadent pizza with the scary meats for other people, order it; just make sure there's also plenty of the friendly, lightened-up pizza to indulge in.

    Arby's: Ultimate BLT Sandwich

    Considering that this is a) not even a super-large sub, b) part of the wholesome-sounding Market Fresh lineup, and c) often accompanied by a side dish (potentially a fried potato item), it's a bad choice. Sorry to be blunt, but it is what it is.



    Schlotzsky's: Deluxe Original-Style Sandwich

    PER SERVING (1 medium sandwich): 956 calories, 46g fat, 4,048mg sodium, 80g carbs, 5g fiber, 10g sugars, 55g protein

    In terms of calorie-counting, the word "deluxe" is rarely a good thing. And this sandwich is no exception. So unless your goal is to get as much deli meat into your system as possible, you'll probably want to avoid this thing. Check out that sodium content -- YIKES!!!

    PER SERVING (one 9.5-oz. container): 290 calories, 4.5g fat, 780mg sodium, 52g carbs, 6g fiber, 15g sugars, 12g protein

    Finding a frozen rice bowl that suits our needs isn't easy; the vegetables can't be soggy, the rice should be brown and not too huge in portion size (but also not pitifully meager), there shouldn't be way more sauce than anything else, etc. Amy's does it right! LOVE this bowl.
