The official release of Katy Perry's highly-anticipated new album is less than a week away, and we already have a good idea of what to expect from Prism (other than general awesomeness). In addition to her irresistible single "Roar," we've already been listening to the bass-heavy club tune "Dark Horse" and '90s redux "Walking on Air" on repeat. And now, the album's second single "Unconditional" has surfaced online. At this rate, the entire LP could leak before it drops on October 22! (Not that we're complaining, of course.)

The latest track is a power ballad that features Katy's killer vocals. Shimmering, spine-tingling synths and major percussion turn the heartfelt love song into an emotionally-charged anthem. Before you take a listen, get ready to tap into your sensitive side-you'll be singing along with the soaring chorus in no time.

You're busy, you're tired, and you're just trying to get a quick workout in so you can get on with the rest of your day. We know the feeling. In moments like these it's easy to assume that you can gulp down some water after the run, or that you can stretch later...but all too often, later becomes never. Then not only is your body missing out on much-needed TLC, but you're also just working the same few muscles every time you hit the gym. Before you know it, you're in a rut. Lame.

The good news? Kelvin Gary, personal trainer and founder of Body Space Fitness, is sharing his best ideas for doing things right.

    Plan Ahead
"The biggest mistake I see people make in the gym is not having a game plan. Every workout should have a purpose, and you should have an idea of how you'll execute its exercises. Mapping everything out is the key to seeing results."

  • Go Big or Go Home: Bold Eyebrows Are Having a Major Moment

    by Marianne Dabir

We love a good red lip or smoky eye as much as the next girl, but brows are pretty much the most important part of any look. They frame your entire face, accentuate your peepers, and convey major emotion (did you see our last Justin Bieber cover?). So while they're easy to overlook, it's important not to skimp on achieving that perfect arch- this is one beauty element where more is always more.

Bold, powerful brows can seem a little intimidating, but after checking out these totally covetable A-list pairs, you'll see that bigger really is better. And taking it on for yourself is actually super simple: just pluck away any stray strands, fill in with a neutral pencil or powder, then add some clear brow gel to hold it all in place. That's right-going au naturel is the best way to get beautiful arches of your own.

  • Austin Mahone Spills About His Ideal First Date (Oh, and He's Single!)

    by Marianne Dabir

Austin Mahone sings about girls-a lot. The up-and-comer hasn't released a full-length album, but his hit singles, "Heart In My Hand" and "What About Love," are undeniably inspired by the opposite sex. So when we caught up with him before his performance at last week's Jingle Ball kick-off party, we had to ask him about all matters of the heart.

As it turns out, Austin is an old-school romantic. "For a first date, I'd probably take a girl to a nice Italian restaurant, and then maybe a nice stroll on the beach before it gets dark," he said. Awww, right? But like everyone else who's lived past the fifth grade, this guy's love life hasn't always been totally picture-perfect. "My first kiss was at a birthday party when I was 13 years old," he reminisces. "I was swimming in a pool, and this girl just pulled me underwater and kissed me-I was like, 'What just happened?!'"

She's become famous for her flawless covers of showtunes, classic love ballads, and pop hits on Glee, but Lea Michele is finally stepping out with her very own songs. After her heartfelt performance on last week's episode, the star singer is once again on our radar...but this time, with much happier intel-her first album is finally on the way! The proof is all over the internet (like most breaking news these days!)-last night, she teased fans with a sneak peek of her album cover shoot, and it looks awesome.

Posing in a decidedly un-Rachel Berry-like white cutout dress and sky-high heels, Lea looks poised for pop stardom. She's also rocking a chic smoky eye, dark manicure, and voluminous tresses-if her get-up is any indication, her album's going to have an edgy, sophisticated vibe to complement those powerhouse vocals. Now if

  • French Fashion Favorites Are Invading Nordstrom This Fall

    by Claire Knebl

It's no secret that Nordstrom has pretty much has everything a girl could ever need, from clothes to shoes to makeup to room gear. But under the direction of Olivia Kim, who most recently oversaw creative at mecca-of-cool Opening Ceremony, the retailer is moving into uncharted territory. Its first project with her is a series of "pop-in" shops, themed mini-boutiques in Nordstrom stores that Kim will curate with awesome limited-edition apparel and accessories.

The first pop-in pays homage to Paris, and features under-the-radar designers like Venessa Arizaga (of a kitschy friendship bracelet fame) and items from Merci (an It girl-approved shop in France). Big name brands like Rodarte and Warby Parker are also included by way of a quippy hoodie and engraved sunnies. Click through to check out the entire collection, and be sure to pick up your fave piece ASAP-they're available on Nordstrom.com now and are sure to sell out before you can say, "Au revoir!"

In the last month alone, Naya Rivera has returned to the small screen for the fifth season of Glee, released her debut single, "Sorry," and gotten engaged to her longtime boyfriend, mega-famous rapper Big Sean. But this crazy-talented dancer-slash-actress (and, now, slash-pop star!) wouldn't have it any other way.

She's been singing since she was six, and always dreamed of a career in music-but then she landed the part of Santana on Glee, and when you find yourself with the role of a lifetime, well, you take it. Finally, though, the time's right to balance both. These days, when she's not in front of the camera, Naya's in the recording studio finishing up her debut album. Her first song, a sorry-I'm-not-sorry anthem dedicated to ex-boyfriends everywhere, climbed the charts headsplittingly fast, partly because of a seriously rad cameo by Big Sean, but mostly because it's awesome. Before you ask, it's not

Waiting until your next salon visit or constantly seeing your stylist for bang trims is inconvenient and expensive. The truth is, you can do them yourself without causing any major hair care catastrophes. But before whipping out the scissors, you've got to master one tiny little technique. Don't worry-it's super easy, and styling pro Nunzio Saviano is here to walk you through it step-by-step.

First, a few words of wisdom: "Don't wait too long," warns Saviano. "You should trim your bangs three weeks after your haircut. The more there is to cut, the easier it is to make a mistake." Another sound piece of advice? Go slow! "You can always continue cutting, but there's no going back if you've taken off too much." Noted!

Now that you and your too-long fringe are ready to roll, let's get down to the business of your bangs.
