  • Happy Spring: 5 Spots that Bring the Outdoors Inside

After months of chilly, blustery weather -- it's official: Spring has sprung! We can literally smell it in the air. To celebrate the shedding of our heavy coats, shearling boots, and bulky sweaters, we found vacation spots that literally bring the outside in -- as in, they're missing the (non-proverbial) fourth wall. Check out our favorite open-air spots after the jump, then tell us: How do you celebrate the arrival of spring?

Jamaica Inn -- Ochos Rios, Jamaica

A small, romantic resort that once drew Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller, the Jamaica Inn is about quiet luxury -- a single thatch-roofed bar, a small pool, and beautiful rooms with open walls, oversize terraces and soft, colonial décor. This is not the place to party, as the resort totally shuts down around midnight -- but who needs late night entertainment when you've got nature at your own fingertips?

In celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the back-up heir to the throne Prince Harry embarked on a 10-day tour of the Caribbean to spread British good will. And it seems he succeeded; Harry charmed locals and participated in charity work in the Bahamas, Belize, Jamaica, and Brazil in honor of his grandmother's 60 years on the throne. Though most of the celebrations will take place in London this June, Harry's tour helped to kick off the festivities and it apparently had quite an effect on the young prince, who claimed he got "choked up a little bit every now and then" at the locals' welcoming reception and love for his "Granny." And of course, it couldn't hurt that he stayed in accommodations fit for a king, errrr, prince. Get an inside look at Harry's luxe digs!

  • The Best Cities to Visit This Spring

Springtime is right around the corner, and we all know what that means: warm weather, beautiful flowers, and travel inspiration. If you're feeling that travel itch like we are, these cities are the best places to see and be seen at this spring. Take a look!

    Austin
The Driskill Hotel, Austin, TexasThe Driskill Hotel, Austin, Texas
The capital city of the Lone Star State has a youthful, hip reputation that tends to precede it. Sure, there's the massive SXSW Festival that brings the tech, film, and music industries to the city in droves, but once the crowds have departed, a thriving local community remains. Artists and the creative community are heavily supported, which has led many galleries, live music venues, and art events to spring up all over the city. Avid outdoorsmen appreciate the easily accessible nature, including miles of 193 miles of scenic walking trails. Of course, the city's awesome restaurant, nightlife, and coffee pub scene fall right in with the locals' jeans-and-T-shirt mentality. Timing your visit before the city becomes sweltering
