How to spot the teething woes.
Elvie has seemed a little out of sorts lately. She's still been her happy self, but she's just been a little bit off. I knew that she was working on cutting some teeth, but I didn't realize how many things that were going on were related to teething. Before, we had drool and a tiny bit of fussiness that was relieved by teething tablets or ibuprofen. Then up a tooth would pop, and she was done. This time, though, it turns out she is cutting a molar, and the symptoms are different.
In addition to a quick check-in with our pediatrician, I've been consulting with other moms, and it turns out that none of the symptoms she's experiencing are unusual for toddlers cutting a molar. Sure enough, a little corner of a molar popped up this afternoon. Here are the six symptoms she's had that turned out to be tooth-related. I can't wait to have that tooth all the way in so she can start feeling better. If your little sweetheart is experiencing these same things, we can commiserate.1. Beck has recently discovered the joy of candy. The other day a bag of Sixlets tipped over in the pantry and I've never seen the kid scoot so fast to shove as many in his mouth as he could before I had the chance to clean them up. So I've been looking for something that will equally delight him and I think these frozen yogurt dots will do just the trick. Read how to make them below.

Father's Day is just around the corner. Dads seem to be the only ones in the world that can sport a mustache without looking totally lame. Something about having children gives them the "okay" to wear their facial hair proudly, looking like a hipster postcard from the seventies. Memorial Day Weekend didn't go as planned for us - it was sunny, but not hot at all. In fact it was pretty cold, and the winds didn't help. I was really looking forward to seeing Little L in her new bathing suit, and my preschooler drove me nuts asking when it would be hot enough to go to the pool. In the end, I let him use his goggles and floaties in the bath tub. Poor guy - I'd been promising him the pool fun for weeks! What we did do, however - and it's something we've been making since he was a toddler - was to make fruit and milk popsicles. They are super simple to make and even more yummy to eat! You can change the recipe depending on what you and your little ones like. It's getting hot out there and these fruity and milky pops are a great way to keep both mommy and toddler cool! - By Maria Jose OvalleMORE ON DISNEY BABY

With the surprise early arrival of our son while I was traveling out of state, I thought I would have more time to pack my hospital bag - but our son had other plans! If you check the annual Top Baby Name list as a general What Not To Name My Baby reference - as many modern parents do - then this is the list for you. You're looking for a baby name that's cool and usable, but you'd prefer if your child wasn't one of many Jessicas/Michaels/Sophias in school - destined to be identified with a last initial. You moan and groan when your favorite formerly unique names (Henry, Penelope, Oliver) creep up into the "popular" zone, and you take your naming seriously. And so, I give you some of the coolest baby names that haven't hit the Top 1,000…yet! - By Michelle HortonRead More »from 7 Coolest Baby Names OUTSIDE the Top 1,000 List

Photo courtesy Amy HeinzWedding season is officially here! While I love going to weddings, I know they can be particularly challenging when a baby is in the picture - especially the ones out of town. Last weekend, we traveled out of town with our girls for a wedding and it was quite the adventure! While it certainly may be easier to leave your little one at home, that's not always an option. Here are some tips & tricks I've collected from my mama friends for surviving wedding season with a baby in tow.Read More »from 10 Things You Should Know Before Bringing a Baby to a Wedding
1. Make sure your little one is invited!
First off, make sure your little one is invited. If your invitation was addressed to just you, chances are littles aren't welcome. If you are uncertain, always ask the bride to be sure.

2. You don't HAVE to bring the baby to the ceremony.
If you can, leave your little one with family or a sitter during the ceremony, then pick them up for the reception! (This is especially great for daytime weddings!)
Every mom needs I am the first person to say that it's important for mom to be happy and healthy in order for the babes to also be happy and healthy. But, I'm kind of falling behind - everyday life takes over and mama time and TLC takes a back seat. For instance, despite putting it on my to-do list every single day, I have yet to get out and exercise and - why yes! I will have that Coke Zero for breakfast. I know! Terrible, but its the reality of a busy mama.Read More »from 10 Unusual Ways I Manage to Get Some "Me" Time
With all that said, you can image that having ME time is nearly impossible. I work straight through the day then it's dinner time and well… you get the point. So I've learned to sneak in ME time in very unusual and creative ways.
Here are 10 ways I sneak in some relax time - I take what I can get!
1. I wait until my husband gets home and I go to the supermarket - ALONE! I know, its not fun and it has to be done, but going alone is like being on vacation in Hawaii for me. I walk up and down the aisles, singing along to Michael Bolton or whatever soft
