Ever wonder why some women just have that shine about them? I'm not referring to the midday shine you need to blot out with pressed powder. I'm talking about the shine that exudes from certain women making them stand out in a positive way. You know; the shine that makes some women more attractive than others. Well quit wondering because high fashion model Coco Rocha gave Target a few of her ideas on what makes a woman shine.
Flaws Can Be Perfect Too
If you don't like your freckles, your gap toothed smile or pear-shape then get over it. Do more than that, use them to your advantage. Coco Rocha disclosed that she feels she has big teeth. Instead of hiding them she is always flashing those pearly whites in front of the camera. It works for her. I've found in life that the more we try to hide our natural "imperfections" the more others will see them as imperfections. To be honest, I never paid attention to Rocha's teeth and still don't think they are large.
You Don't Have to Flash Cleavage or Skin to Be Sexy
Being sexy is more about knowing your worth as a person, a woman, a mother, a daughter and whatever roles you have in life. If you are secure and comfortable with yourself as a sensual and sexual being, that will show up in whatever you wear. You can be in relaxed-fit jeans and a cap sleeved white tee with a ponytail and be sexy. Besides don't we often think the women who are always showing off cleavage, wearing skin-tight clothing and short skirts are trying just a little too hard to be noticed? Sexiness should come naturally to and from you. When that happens, you will be sexy in a bustier or in flannel pajamas.
Be Confident in Who You Are
It is amazing how many times this has to be repeated. Sometimes we forget that confidence is attention grabbing. A woman who is confident will always gain the attention of an interviewer, a passerby, a beau or an audience. Be confident in who you are first. Then let that confidence trickle down to where you make confident choices for your appearance. Ever notice how some women wear clothes and other look like the clothes are overpowering them? That difference is confidence.
The big message Coco Rocha gave when she talked about what makes a woman shine, is that women should embrace everything that makes each and every one of us unique. That can be summed up in two words acceptance and confidence. Acceptance of ourselves and being confident in who we are will make us, all of us, truly shine.
