Wondering what to bring to tonight's Halloween party? "MasterChef Junior" competitors Sofia Hublitz and Jack Hoffman show Ali a simple treat that will delight — and potentially gross out — your party guests: vampire dentures.
WATCH: Inside-Out Caramel Apples
Simply cut a chocolate chip cookie in half, spread red-colored vanilla frosting on one side and line one-half with mini-marshmallows to look like teeth. Place the other cookie half on top, like a sandwich, and use two slivered almonds or candy corn pieces to look like fangs. If you're feeling really gross, add a gummy worm tongue.
Though Sofia is no longer in the "MasterChef" competition, she's learned a lot along the way, especially from notoriously vocal host Gordon Ramsay. "When I messed up on my cake, he came over and helped me and he pretty much taught me when something goes wrong, never give up and learn from a mistake," she says.
Jack, however, will compete in the final four. Wha...Read More »

Simon Cowell will become a dad this February when his girlfriend Lauren Silverman gives birth. Fellow 'X Factor' judge Paulina Rubio says his impending fatherhood, along with the influence of the 'X Factor' cast this season, have made the curmudgeonly Brit a whole lot nicer. “He is all around girls, and he is a better Simon,” Paulina says. “He’s cuter!”
Paulina also revealed a surprising conversation she had with the notorious judge. “He told me the other day he was going to breastfeed,” Paulina says. “I said, 'Well, good luck.' Because he’s Simon, he can do whatever he wants!”
As a judge on a high-stakes competition, Paulina sometimes finds it difficult to hurt the hopes of the competitors. “In your decisions are the lives of so many talented people,” she says. “But you are a judge and you have to tell them what you think. It’s hard, sometimes I cannot sleep.”
So what is the 'X facto...Read More »

Amber Galloway-Gallego has worked for Lady Gaga, Madonna, and others. But she has a job you've probably never heard of: She translates music into sign language at live concerts.
Before a video of Amber translating the lyrics to a Kendrick Lamar song went viral earlier this year (we should warn you: this link contains strong language) it didn't occur to many concertgoers that there were hearing-impaired people in the audience. But Amber has been working her magic at live shows for more than a decade.
"First, I'm a huge music lover," Amber says. She had deaf friends and extended family growing up and would translate music for them at parties. "I was showing them ... it's not just lyrics, and there's actual tones and riffs that come with each part of the music."
Amber has interpreted all kinds of music, but she has a special affinity for rap. "Whenever I was challenged with rap, it was a huge challenge for me to delve into the language more and...Read More »

Maxwell Ryan has been helping people avoid design disasters for years as the founder of ApartmentTherapy.com. Maxwell once lived in a 250-square-foot apartment with his ex-wife and daughter, so he knows the best tricks to enhance a tiny room.
First tip, declutter. "You have to have breathing room," Maxwell says. "If you have a bookshelf that can take 30 books, put 25 on it. Don't fill it up right to the edge. ... Good organization is leaving a little empty space."
Second, good lighting can make a room appear much larger than it actually is. "You want three points of light in every room," he says about avoiding shadowing. "You can light it badly and it will feel small, because your eye won't go where there's no light."
Another tip is to stick with lighter paint colors on your walls. "The basic rule is that light colors expand and dark colors contract," Maxwell says. "But you don't want to...Read More »

Diego Klattenhoff is best known for playing Mike Faber, the Marine captain who fell for his best friend's wife on "Homeland." And it seems plenty of other men have fallen for the actress who plays her, Morena Baccarin. "I have so many guys that come up to me, whether it’s in airports or somewhere, and they’re like, ‘Oh, I love that show. The wife is so hot. Tell me about the wife,’” says Diego. "It's like creepy-guy syndrome. I can't imagine what it’s like for her."
For now, Diego is focusing on his latest project, NBC's "The Blacklist."
"James Spader is the world's most wanted man who turns himself in to the FBI after 20 years of being on the lam, selling secrets to the highest bidder," Diego says. "He says 'Screw your most wanted list — it's all about publicity. I have the biggest, baddest list of criminals around the world, and I'm going to help you solve them.'"
You might not know that...Read More »
