Daily Shot: Straight Christian Man's Gay Experiment

Ali and John discuss Timothy Kurek, a Christian man who wanted to understand the prejudices that come along with being homosexual by going on a "spiritual espionage journey" and living the life of a fake gay man for a year. He's in the process of writing a book about his experiences that's set to be released on National Coming Out Day. He was inspired to do this experiment after his lesbian friend came out to him.

More can't-miss moments: Ali talks a California woman who applied to be a waitress at the Titled Kilt Pub and Eatery and didn't get the job after she couldn't fit into the promiscuous work costume, the most expensive items in the Neiman Marcus catalog (including a $100,000 hen house), and misophonia, a disorder where people's brains have extreme reactions to soothing and irritating sounds.
