Josh and Fergie "Don't Want to Raise a Kid That's Entitled"

"For the first two years, my sole job as a parent is just to keep him alive," Josh says, but beyond that, the hunky dad wants to make sure Axl appreciates hard work. He and Fergie hope to "teach the kid how to understand that not everything is just handed to you," Josh says. "We don't want to raise a kid that's entitled, or a brat."

How? Josh's family leads by example. The actor follows in his mom's footsteps by encouraging others to get involved. "My mother volunteers for everything, it doesn't matter what," he says. Now, Josh is working with the Advil Relief in Action campaign to encourage others to make a pledge to volunteer in their communities. "It's really important that people give back in some way," he says. "This is an opportunity to do that."
