Real Housewife's Cheapest Beauty Secret

"Pantene shampoo and L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara" are her go-to cheap beauty items of choice, and she prides herself on taking care of her long locks without adding extensions.

Kyle recently launched a fashion line, "Kyle by Kyle Richards," on the Home Shopping Network, taking advantage of an opportunity that came her way — something her mom always encouraged. "My mom used to say to me, 'When you want something in life, you have to plant the seed," she says. "You have to know what you want and stay on that path."

Her mother's advice is the same she gives her four daughters, who range in age from 5 to 25. "You get out of your kids what you put into them," she says, citing her best parenting advice. "I've never had a nanny. To me, that time I have with my kids driving them to school and picking them up [results in] some of the best conversations."

Kyle sees a reflection of herself in her kids, even though it's not always the most flattering. "The drama going on with the 8th graders!" she exclaims. "I'm thinking, 'This is literally little future Real Housewives.' It's actually very scary. It's the exact same thing that we're doing at our age, which is really embarrassing."
