Who’s Meaner Than a Real Housewife?

If you’ve ever worked in a restaurant, you’re probably familiar with some behind-the-scenes drama that patrons don’t see. On “Vanderpump Rules,” viewers follow the lives of aspiring actresses and models working in the trendy West Hollywood restaurant SUR.

Stassi Schroeder is known as the resident mean girl at the restaurant, owned by Real Housewife Lisa Vanderpump. Though the title has been bestowed upon her, she’s not sure how she feels about it. “I don’t think I’m a mean person, but when you’re surrounded by crazy people…” She admits that being known as a villain gets to her. “Sometimes it does,” she says. “It used to not bother me. I’m just kind of harsh and direct.”

Things are much different at the restaurant, now, one year since the show first aired. Stassi says the regular customers have been replaced with fans of the show, which presents a unique challenge. “People are coming in with an opinion about you already,” she says, but that’s not always bad when it comes to making extra cash. “The tips are better with people that are scared of me.”

Stassi also expressed her appreciation for SUR owner Lisa Vanderpump. “That’s what I feel really great about,” she says about Vanderpump. “She doesn’t want us to be at SUR forever; she really encourages us to find our passions and work hard and strive to get what we want."

Stassi’s also known on the show for her ridiculously abrasive metaphors. To watch her play “S**t Stassi Says” and see what happens when Ali challenges her to make them up on the spot, check out this episode of "Daily Shot."
