7 Ways to Brighten Your Home for Summer
Spring weather is so unpredictable that it's still a little early to be out in the yard or balcony working for some of us. So why not start summer-izing inside? It's one of my favorite spring pastimes, seriously. Brightening up a space with new colors and accessories is a complete pick-me-up after a long dark winter. Paint some stairs bright colors, add new cushions, move the bedroom downstairs or, if you're lucky, onto the porch.

1. Decorate with Summer Cushions
Add some summer-themed textiles to the mix! From florals to whimsical illustrations, light summery textiles bring the garden indoors.

2. Relocate your Bedroom
Set up a sleeping area downstairs or in a closed-in porch for those hotter nights. Using a daybed makes the transition easier from day to night.
