An Eagle's 6 Easy Steps for Taking a Great Selfie

After seeing countless poorly lit, blurry and off-centered selfies, a sea eagle in Australia decided he'd had enough with amateur smart phone photography. Thus, he decided to show the world how the selfie is really done.

Here are six easy steps this audacious bird has for the rest of us:

1. "Borrow" a good camera from a park ranger. Make sure he's not around when you snatch it, and don't land anywhere so as to avoid leaving talon prints.

2. Fly at least 62 miles away to a remote location where you won't be photobombed by alligators. DON'T DROP THE CAMERA MID-AIR.

3. Once you're on the ground, tilt the camera against a flat surface so it faces the sky. It's a great angle for your beak, and on a sunny day, the backdrop looks totally gorg.

4. Frame your head beside a rock. This makes you appear thin and sort of daredevilish.

5. Shift the lens a few times to get everything in the frame, and make sure to peck the screen so you know the camera's working.

6. Look elusive.

The result… #Perfection.
