The Internet has banded together to find missing teddy bears, why not help two strangers reconnect?
That appears to be the mission of Maria Luisa Portuondo Vila, an artist in New York who is making headlines for putting up missing persons posters of a man who caught her eye on the subway.
According to the NY Daily News, Maria is a performance artist and hoping to reconnect with the handsome stranger she spotted on the train in November. She created this unique flyer, complete with an eyewitness composite, physical description, details on when the man was last seen, and a hashtag for people to use when posting potential suspects.
Maria was apparently in a bad mood the day she spotted her Potential Prince Charming, thus didn't have the heart to hand him her contact info. Nevertheless, she's coming back full force, and the quest is on for her #MissingLove
Some people have responded, mostly with sarcasm…
Unfortunately for Maria, it might take awhile to track down "the one," as a day away from Valentine's, the hashtag has been double-booked.
