This Little Rapper is on a Path to Greatness

On the cusp of his sixth birthday, Jordan Bijan decided to reflect on the new phase of his life in the form of an adorable rap video, dubbed "Two Paths."

As everyone realizes when they grow up, life can take you in many directions, and Jordan is now starting to think about where he wants to go. In the video, which was posted to YouTube this week, he recalls the carefree time of preschool when he could roam about with his friends without a worry in the world.

"Hanging with my bros, no responsibilities. Talk about girls and play with cards," the little boy rhymes. "But now I plan the future and reach for the stars."

Jordan can't quite pronounce his "r"s just yet, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Since he's over halfway to 10, he realizes life is changing quickly. He discusses perseverance, advice from his mom, job applications, choosing the road that will lead to good opportunities, and keeping on track.

"Do what you like, I'm not going to preach," he says. "Just remember what you choose is within your reach."

Serving as his hype men are his dad, Daniel, his dad's goofy friend, and a cute puppy.

According to the post, Jordan plays all the instruments for the video, in addition to showing off his hip hop skills. His father is a Latin Grammy-nominated producer, singer, songwriter, audio mixer and director, and has been frequently been working with his son.

Their April YouTube collaboration demonstrating how to write a Jennifer Lopez song in 30 seconds garnered over 10,000 views, and they also jam together on Michael Jackson and Stevie B. covers.

It's the rap song that really shows off Jordan's talent. Any kid who can work Spic N' Span, chicken dance, and Robert De Niro into the lyrics of one song is a pro in our book!
