This is What Might Happen If Your Dad’s a Soldier

Every dad has his own approach to parenting, and for one soldier in Georgia, tough love is a useful policy.

Fed up with the untidy room of his daughter, honor roll student Haley, the soldier moved her entire bedroom out to the driveway with a sign that said, "Clean it next time."

Savannah TV station WSAV reports that the teenager returned from school on Monday to the dismal scene outside her home. Her father, who has asked to remain anonymous, moved her bed, table, bookshelf and chair into the driveway. He had previously "warned her" he didn't want to "treat her like a soldier," but looks like she got the military standard anyhow.

While Haley called the move "extreme," her father made up for it by painting her bedroom. According to the news outlet, the family hired a painter to come in and give the teen's bedroom a fresh coat of paint, in hopes that she will keep it cleaner from now on.

See… inside, every dad's a softie!
