Who Needs a Superhero Lunch Box when You Can Have a Paper Bag Doodle?

The standard paper lunch bag just got a comic book makeover from an imaginative mom with a good sense of humor and a Sharpie.

Rather than send her kids to school with a typical lunch pail, artist and teacher Jane Olivier Lea sketches cartoons, interesting facts and random jokes she conjures up or finds online onto brown paper bags to send with her kids to school each day.

She's posted the series on Facebook, and in addition to entertaining her own family, she's charming the rest of the world.

"I started it on his first day of 6th grade, fully expecting it to be a one-day thing, but we are still going strong a year and a half later!" Lea writes. "Some of it is my original art, but more frequently, due to a busy life, I search the internet high and low for cartoons, comics, and jokes that will entertain my intended audience: 13- and 14-year-old boys."

Her methodology is simple … "I use only black Sharpies, and if I can't scribble it onto a bag in two or three minutes, it's not going on a bag."

The results are brilliant!
