In the past few seasons, accessory trends have seemed to be going in two ways. On one side was the ultra-ladylike, '50s throwback with kitten heels, box clutches, brooches, and headbands. On the other, was the ultra-tomboy, '90s throwbacks with lug soles, backpacks, caps, and ear cuffs. It seems like for spring '14, the latter half won out.

Far-out flats, practical bags, and tough-looking accessories dominated the runways, including the induction of the latest style to the Ugly Shoe club - the shower shoe.
