Naeem Khan Closes Out His New York Fashion Week Show with a Wedding Dress

Women craving gowns with intricate beading, ornate patterns and high-fashion-yet-flattering flair have turned to Naeem Khan's eponymous line since it debuted in 2005. His most high-profile fan, one Michelle Obama, digs his dresses so much that she has worn his creations to state dinners and overseas trips.

And now, as of his Spring 2014 New York Fashion Week show, brides can look forward to joining the first lady in Naeem Khan's loyal ranks of fans! Khan introduced the first peek at his brand-new wedding dress collection at his fashion show on Monday. The full collection will launch on October 12.

Khan closed his show, which had already featured several wedding-worthy looks, by dimming the lights, playing soft music, and sending out a model in a gorgeous wedding dress and veil (and carrying a red rose bouquet) down the aisle-er, we mean, runway.
The stunning final look surprised attendees, something Khan anticipated. "This is the first time that you're going to see a bridal piece from me," he told InStyle.com. "I'm closing my [Spring 2014] collection as I'm launching my first bridal collection."
With the next bridal market (check out all of the collections from the Spring 2014 shows!) just around the corner, he has a busy fall ahead of him! Based on these gorgeous dresses from his show, we can't wait to see other romantic, unique wedding day looks.
