Proving Fashion Week can be dangerous to more than just one's self-esteem and liver, the regal and statuesque Nicole Kidman went crashing to the sidewalk yesterday after leaving the Calvin Klein show. A photographer hit her with his bike in an incident that was captured on camera (and released by TMZ this morning). It looks pretty bad! Kidman is making her way into the Carlyle Hotel when the photographer is seen careening into her, toppling her over like a bowling pin.

Kidman thankfully wasn't injured, though she was seen grabbing her ankle and appears, understandably, quite shaken up post-spill. Police said they would be writing up the paparazzo, Carl Wu, for biking on a sidewalk, but wouldn't be able to arrest him. (Though, if you ask us, knocking over Nicole Kidman should result in, like, deportation from society/humanity. Or at least some sort of public shaming.) TMZ says that Kidman will be pressing charges.

Coincidentally (or not), this is not Carl Wu's first charged encounter with a celebrity. In 2010, according to the Boston Globe, Wu "allegedly got into a scuffle" in a parking garage with one of Lady Gaga's bodyguards. Wu said that he was punched by one of the pop star's guards and tossed to the ground after trying to get a picture of Gaga. Ritz-Carlton security guards corroborated the story, but said that Gaga's guard only punched and shoved Wu after he had been asked to leave and "became confrontational" with the bodyguards. Wu told the Globe later that he had suffered a cut to his lip and injuries to his hand, though Boston police said "they did not see any injuries." The incident led to the creation of a Tumblr titled "F--- You Carl Wu," presumably created by one of Gaga's Little Monsters.
