What a Vogue Editor Packs for Milan Fashion Week

Katherine Bernard

Perhaps because it's the last leg of the spring 2014 runway marathon or that the City of Lights is such a historic hub for the shows, but the arrival of Paris Fashion Week always signals the time for bringing out a real statement look. As such, Vogue's Style Editor at Large Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis is packing only the most stylish essentials. A backpack is a practical way to carry everything she needs on the go (like rice crackers, a new favorite ever since she returned from Japan), and a striped Raf Simons x Eastpak version elevates the simple staple. Same with a pair of cool Miu Miu brogues, and quirky Comme des Garçons Bermuda shorts. TNT tops her suitcase off with a Smythson notebook that says it all: J'Adore.
