New York Fashion Week: Richard Chai Brings Spring Layers

Although today's shows aren't over, I'm going to go out on a limb here and honor this one as my favorite. I'm excited to start wearing layers for fall right now, but this collection proves the multi-dimensional look will continue after the snow melts into spring.

Richard Chai Love offered up layers for every type of lady from those who lunch to those who prefer to hide in the shadows. His drool-enducing white leather bomber jacket worn over a button-up striped shirt and midi skirt screams downtown chic. While the cherry red tank dress and floral print pants would appease those with more feminine taste. Finally, who says spring has to be about whites and brights? At the end of the show, we got treated to some seriously dark threads, like this pin-striped, double-breasted vest worn over multiple layers and a crop top-proving you can still be mysterious when showing a little skin.

Which layered look suits your mood?
