The Costume Institute Gala was the event du jour last night with stars from the music and acting realms colliding with the elite of the fashion world. Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson and other Hollywood heavy hitters took over the famous carpeted stairs of New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
