3 Spring Maternity Trends You Should Try
It's finally time for spring's easy and forgiving clothes. I'm so excited to shed my dark sweaters, coats, and tights for fun printed summer dresses!
This dress, the Maurie and Eve Observation, is the perfect shape for a baby belly.
It's flowy, and the asymmetrical bottom makes me feel sexy. The leather straps have gold studs so I don't even have to bother with jewelry. It's a little short for me to wear as a dress right now, so I've layered an American Apparel stretch pencil skirt underneath for coverage.

You many have noticed I wear American Apparel under a lot of things while pregnant. I found that a lot of clothes that used to look great on me now seem a little too revealing and inappropriate thanks to my curves. But using basic stretch pieces as a first layer are an easy and cheap fix.
By the way, you can steal this trick even if you're not pregnant. Adding the stretchy layer is a great way to feel more comfortable in clothes that might normally make you a little self-conscious.
