5 Things We Saw at New York Fashion Week: Day 1
We're running around like maniacs covering New York Fashion Week and each day we'll be rounding up the top five things that catch our eye. Follow us on Twitter and check back from now through Thursday, February 16 for our top Fashion Week picks and you won't miss a thing.
1. The young professional ensembles at Honor. Perhaps the shorts were a bit too small, but we're dying to pair this cobalt blazer with an old school briefcase and loafers, just as designer Giovanna Randall did on the runway.
2. Designer Max Azria getting very friendly with the female attendees at his BCBG show. From left: Wife and co-BCBG designer Lubov Azria, actress/TV reporter Maria Menounos, and Max Azria.
3. Oscar-worthy gowns at Tadashi Shoji. If we were an A-lister this emerald green Chantilly lace dress would be our red carpet pick.
4. This embroidered lace tiered dress at Tadashi Shoji is also to die for. We're loving the flame/black color contrast.
5. This guy. We've seen him season after season wearing cant-miss-'em ensembles like this one every single day at Fashion Week. Who is he? No idea. Where does he get his outfits? Not a clue. One day we'll get the courage to ask for more than just his photo. Also, "Shaggy," the notorious NYC party crasher, snuck into this photo (on the right). We think he got in by carrying a Mercedes Benz Fashion Week bag from several seasons ago. We love him too.
