Luckily, Miami-based makeup artist, Marissa Nemes knows a thing or two about covering zits. "If you have a pimple, you don't want to apply cakey cream foundation. Instead choose a powder foundation that will rest lightly on your skin," she says. Nemes recommends mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation, $12.

And if your powder foundation doesn't do the trick, Nemes suggests applying a concealer that is a hint darker than your actual skin tone. After the concealer is applied, use the powder foundation. This will cut down on the redness. less
