A Pillow that Battles Acne and Wrinkles While You Sleep? Sign Us Up!
Okay, at first we thought this sounded crazy and not just a little gross: A pillow that drips a steady stream of aloe vera on your face all night? Then again, Natura's unfortunately named "Aloe Dream Mate Pillow" is being touted as just the thing for those of us who battle both acne and wrinkles, and that's a pretty damn huge slice of the population.

Here's the deal: The cover of the pillow is encapsulated in aloe and covered in wool, which sounds hella scratchy but in this case is soft and serves to wick sweat from skin and kill off bacteria (it contains antimicrobial ingredients). And according to Natura, the foam inside is so springy that it helps prevent bed wrinkles. Not 100% sure I'm inspired enough to fork over the $77.50 to $107.50 price tag, but we were certainly intrigued enough to get a professional opinion. "I really like the idea," New York dermatologist Doris Day (somewhat surprisingly) told us. "Aloe is soothing and antiseptic. I also like the other material that helps keep excess moisture away from the skin-the wool lining. I would just want to feel it to make sure it's soft enough and not irritating to the skin." There you have it folks. A crazy idea that just might work.
