Gossip Girl may have ended nearly a year ago, but that doesn't mean its stars aren't still incredibly relevant in the fashion and beauty sphere-especially to mega skincare, hair, and makeup brand L'Oreal Paris. Yesterday, the company confirmed via its Instagram account that Blake Lively (who looked super-chic and glamorous in a textured, off-the-shoulder Balmain minidress complete with chain detailing) will be joining the L'Oreal Paris ranks. We're not sure in what capacity Lively will be representing the brand, but we do have assuredly glossy campaigns to look forward to throughout 2014. This comes just a week after the brand named Lively's Gossip Girl co-star Leighton Meester as the new face of Biotherm, L'Oreal Paris' luxury skincare line.

"She has become a beauty icon for a whole generation with her gorgeous gold-dipped hair, luminous gaze and drop-dead smile," said the company's brand global president Cyril Chapuy in a statement. "Today, this strong, charismatic and definitely glowing actress is joining the L'Oreal Paris family. And we're so proud to welcome her."

With the news having recently broke that the Mrs. Ryan Reynolds will be replacing Katherine Heigl in the upcoming period flick The Age of Adaline, we have a feeling 2014 just might be Lively's biggest year yet.
