CFDA Ballots in Today: Who Would You Vote for Best American Designer?
Every year, the CFDA honors the best clothing and accessories designers of the year, as determined by a jury of their peers (which includes CFDA members as well as select fashion retailers, press, and stylists). I feel so lucky to be able cast my vote, but it is difficult to decide who really has been the most influential designer of the Fall and Spring 2008 collections. Here's the catch: you can't include any of the biggies who have won in the last few years - you can see them here.
Who would you vote for for Best American Designer? Best New Talent and Established Talent? What about Best Accessories Designer - new and established? Let me know who would get your vote!
