Christie Brinkley Schools Look-alike Daughter in Modeling

Sailor Brinkley Cook, 15, looks astonishingly like her famously beautiful mother, Christie Brinkley, so of course she has joined the family business--modeling. On Saturday night, both wore similar dresses to a white party Brinkley hosted at Georgica, a popular nightspot in Wainscott, New York, where we spoke to the pair about their life and work.

Do you enjoy modeling so far?
Cook: "Oh, my gosh, yes. it's so exciting. I've just been doing it for a couple of months now. We have something called m-term [midwinter term] at my school where we can do something we're interested in for three weeks. I chose photography and modeling. Once I shot for Teen Vogue, it all skyrocketed. It's been amazing. I'm shooting an advertising deal for Claire's stores right now."
Brinkley: "We spent her entire childhood in Claire's stores, so that was fun."

And has the ingenue signed with an agency?
Brinkley: "Yes, she has, but we can't say which one as of yet."

Has Sailor learned any tricks from her mom?
Cook: "I make the noise [like mom], a kind of fake laugh--hah, hah, hah!"
Brinkley: "It's not fake. You think happy things and the sound comes out. She thinks it's funny."
Cook: "Rainbows and happiness!"
Brinkley: "That was my tip for her. Some people just go like this [does a Zoolander stare] and the feeling just doesn't come out in the pictures."

Does mom come on your shoots?
Cook: "No, I went to Claire's alone."
Brinkley: "She was with Alexa [Ray Joel, her stepsister] for the Claire's shoot. Alexa took great care of her, made sure she got to and from the shoot safe and sound."

What's next on the horizon?
Cook: "We're both going to South Africa in September for the First Lady of South Africa's anti-poaching campaign."
Brinkley: "To save the elephants and rhinos."
