Coach Handbags New 2012
We're not big on designer logos, and we foolishly wrote off Coach as a brand because we overdosed on their famous C-print bags. Well, Coach, we owe you an apology. We've always known your accessories were well-made and durable, and your new spring handbags are clearly worth drooling over and saving up for. These are our favorites.
Kristin woven leather crossbody bag, $238
We love a crossbody bags that's just large enough to hold all the essentials, and the woven pattern reminds us of white wicker. Perfect for spring!
Hamptons weekend stripe straw medium tote, $398
Nail the colorblocking trend with one pretty, punched up accessory. We love that it's also hand-dyed and hand-woven.
Kristin patent leather fashion wristlet, $148
This shiny pink clutch is surprisingly versatile and the detachable chain acts like an extra piece of jewelry.
Kristin metallic leather top handle pouch, $178
Pairing luxe, pearlized champagne-colored leather with the easy functionality of a zip top bag? WANT!
Kristin embossed python crossbody bag, $238
In case you missed the memo, python is the new leopard print and the trend will continue into fall. We'd pair this bag with a great LBD so it got the attention it deserves.
Kristin leather domed satchel, $358
We know it's spring, but you can never go wrong with a classic and practical black handbag. We'd use this one for years.
Waverly swingpack, $128
Maybe logos aren't so bad! This modern twist in a lightweight shape would be perfect to take on a trip.
Coach isn't the only popular handbag designer this season. The web is lighting up with gossip about Monica Lewinsky's handbags. Remember them? A new PBS documentary called "Clinton: American Experience" mentioned the former White House intern's brief career as a handbag designer and now women are scouring the internet for a Lewinsky purse. Lewinsky said she started knitting to cope with stress and couldn't find a nice bag to carry her yarn so she started making her own. Though her handbag line failed, you can cross your fingers and check eBay for a velvet and brocade tote (see left) which ran around $188 on therealmonicainc.com.
