Miranda Kerr's been super busy lately. She's been whipping up health smoothies on Net-a-Porter's website, touring Japan to promote Samantha Thavasa handbags and walking the most prestigious runways in Paris. She's been working on her Kora Organics beauty line, starring in Mango's fall campaign and, of course, posing on the cover of our 100 Perfect Outfits special issue. You know what she hasn't been doing, though? Preparing to walk in the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show this November.

Despite claims earlier this year from the lingerie company's chief marketing officer, Ed Razek, that the recently-retired Angel was scheduled to appear at this year's event, the model told Fashionista she can't due to a conflicting commitment in Asia. It was a tough design, she admitted, especially since the brand feel like "family," but she just "can't be in two places at the same time."

Of course, seeing as the model has been loosening her ties with the brand since officially hanging up her wings last spring, this news isn't all that surprising. What's far more interesting about the announcement is that there's now an empty spot in the VS show that needs to be filled by a Miranda-caliber girl. We're dying to see who they ask!
