Did a Chest Wax Cost England the World Cup?
England fans are having a hard time coming to terms with Sunday's World Cup result. Now the dust has settled-and the English are fully into their sulk-they're wondering aloud "what happened?!". Our favorite hypothesis is the Daily Mail's Samson idea that surfaced on Monday: did Wayne Rooney-supposedly the country's best player-lose his powers when he waxed his chest?

The usually fairly hairy Rooney flashed his hairless chest at the end of the match against Germany. So is a man less manly (and worse at "football") with less hair? While we can't answer for sure, we can point to the Argentinian team as a country with fairly hairy sportsmen.
