Does Kristen Stewart Need a New Stylist?

Kristen Stewart isn't afraid to try daring, edgy outfits. Not everybody can pair Converse sneakers with a cocktail dress and make it work on the red carpet (like she did at the MTV Movie Awards in 2009). But lately, some of KStew's red carpet outfits have been a little too "out there." Case in point: the see-through gown she wore to the "Snow White and the Huntsman" premiere.

No. 5: Nearly Nude

I did a double take when I first saw this getup. You've got to be pretty fearless to wear a barely-there floor length Marchesa gown. Stewart's ivory skin looks beautiful contrasted with black lace, and the dark, moody vibe is perfect for the "Snow White and the Huntsman" premiere. But is the less-is-more look working for her?

No. 4: Mixed Bag

The bottom of this Balenciaga dress slightly reminds me of a Rubik's cube, and the shoes look a little like a straight jacket. But Stewart wore this to the Met Gala, which is all about fashion that is "out there." A plain old gown would have been too blah for this over-the-top event. But, what do you think? Is this look fun, young, and different or just not working?

No. 3: Zig-Zagged

Stewart's go-to color scheme is black and red, and she looks fantastic in it. The high-slit and low back is a sexy style, but the modest neckline balances everything out. The zig zag print is a bold move, especially since she has such a tiny frame. Do you like this look or is the print just too much?

No. 2: Strictly Ballroom

No Converses here. Stewart traded in the sneakers for a navy ball gown that has plenty of Hollywood glamour. It's rare that Stewart shows off some curves, and I like that she switched it up a bit. But the "Twilight" star gets a little lost in all the ruching and ruffles. What do you think? Do you like this look or are you missing the black and white Converses?

No. 1: Office Appropriate

Here she's looking office appropriate in a black blazer, navy skirt and loafers. The A-line skirt and crisp white oxford keeps this buttoned-up style from looking too frumpy. Plus, I love when girls defy supposed "fashion rules" like you can't wear black and navy together. But the loafers look a little "fresh off the Mayflower." I wish she ditched the Pilgrim shoes for something sleeker, like pumps or black suede booties. Do you like this more serious style?

Now you tell me: Are these Kristen Stewart outfits a hit or a miss?
