Answer: There are a few great, no-fail makeup tricks that can help make your lips look fuller instantly. Applying a opalescent highlighter on your cupid's bow right along your top lip line gives a subtle illusion of plumpness and helps define the shape of your lips. For a more dramatic effect, apply your favorite lipstick, then choose a slightly shimmery gloss a couple of shades lighter and apply it to just the center of your top and bottom lips. Bright colors are OK, but if you have really thin lips, stay away from very dark colors, which only make them look skinnier. No matter what, please, please, please don't get any lip injections (with fillers like collagen, Restylane, or silicone). I've had dozens of doctors tell me that they can look natural, but I've yet to see one example where they do.
