Exclusive clip: The poofiest wedding dress on TV

Why Did the Paycheck Fairness Act Get Voted Down?

In England they go big on wedding dresses. Kate Middleton's required bodyguards, and her gown didn't even have 15,000 crystal-encrusted leaves sewn by hand into the fabric, like the bride on the next episode of TLC's My Big Fat Gypsy wedding. The sleeper hit series that proves America's not the only incubator of over-the-top affairs, features a young woman planning to wear a very intricate gown for her big day. But we're not talking a little stitching and embellishing. Just to get into the corset underneath her dress, she has to go through a tunnel and look for the light. According to the series voice over (which we implicitly trust), "Gypsy" or "Traveler" wedding culture mandates a mega-layered wedding gown. This one is particularly mega.

Watch the whole wedding go down on Friday night's episode, on TLC at 10 PM, EST.
