Marchesa's Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman are never ones to shy away from a dramatic detail. Both their ready-to-wear and bridal runway shows are highly-anticipated events. And for good reason: Their gowns are consistently jaw-dropping with intricate embroidery and inventive silhouettes. Now that Bridal Fashion Week is about to begin, we're sure that this season's Marchesa wedding dress collection will yet again inspire and impress us. In anticipation of their Spring 2015 runway show this Friday, we reached out to ladies behind the beloved bridal design powerhouse to find out what inspired their soon-to-be shown collection. Here's an exclusive sneak peek into Craig and Chapman's design process.

While Marchesa's Fall 2014 collection, inspired by The Secret Garden, was extremely ethereal - soft tulle skirts created an airy aura, while light Chantilly lace graced the thinnest of illusion necklines and sleeves - this season looks like it might have a heavier impact. The image above reflects the girls' main source of inspiration: Colorful flowers. The mood board looks a bit bohemian, and we wouldn't be surprised if along with a touch of color a ton of volume will be featured on Marchesa's latest gowns.

Light and airy might have been the name of the game last season, but from the looks of this intricately embroidered lace, above, this season's gowns will be a lot more ornate. Crystals, bows, beads and pearls are all sewn onto the lace swatch, which will make for some shimmering, textured, ultra-decadent dresses.

Lastly, hand-stitched Christian Louboutin pumps (talk about swoon!) sit atop sparkly 3D floral appliqués (just look at all of those sequins, beads, and crystals!) which we pray will make their way onto a number of gowns.
