Exclusive: The Story Behind Kate Bosworth's Wedding Rings

By Nicole Shoohed, Refinery29

On Saturday, Kate Bosworth officially tied the knot with director Michael Polish in an intimate, romantic ranch ceremony in Philipsburg, Montana. Everything about the wedding was picturesque: the mountaintop setting, her two (yes, two) stunningly chic Oscar de la Renta gowns, her arrival via horse-drawn stagecoach, and pretty much every other detail of the day. And, if these glimpses into the nuptials weren't already making you green with envy, then the lowdown on her incredible wedding ring certainly will.

Kate gave us the exclusive deets on her exquisite, one-of-a-kind ornament, explaining, "The design of the wedding band is based off the design of the engagement ring, which is a 1920's Art Deco design."

"On the engagement ring, there are two delicate baguettes supporting the main diamond," she added. "We wanted to create a wedding band that incorporated 12 of these diamond baguettes for each month of the year."

In order to carry out the couple's creative wishes, jewelry retailer Ocappi ended up crafting two rings that epitomize Bosworth's sophisticated, feminine, and always on-trend style. Her other band features 18 brilliant baguette diamonds bezel set horizontally to mimic the unique, vintage vibe of her engagement ring, and overall, the baubles took more than 36 hours of work to complete. What else can we say, she's one lucky girl!
