Exclusive: Whitney Port's 10 Favorite Looks from Bridal Fashion Week

by Jennifer Cress

Once news broke that Whitney Port was engaged, we immediately wondered what kind of wedding dress she'd choose. After all, the former reality-star-turned fashion designer is known for her inherently cool, California style. Luckily, we're one step closer to knowing what the bride-to-be will walk down the aisle wearing because Port is dishing some major details.

The Whitney Eve designer has kept relatively mum about her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Tim Rosenman, but the star is sharing a few hints about her wedding day look exclusively with Brides. Port chose her 10 favorite wedding dresses (well, one isn't exactly a dress!) from the Spring 2015 collections, and it's safe to assume the star will not be saying, "I do" in something traditional.

"I haven't chosen my dress yet, so it gave me a lot of inspiration," Port tells us of scouring our Bridal Fashion week slideshows in search of her favorite finds.

The star hasn't locked down a look yet because she isn't sure of where she's tying the knot. (And every smart, stylish bride knows the dress should reflect the venue!) Though, she does note it will be a destination wedding somewhere in the U.S.

Port also reveals that she's rethinking her original plan of designing her own dress. "I'm not 100 percent sure [if I'm still going to do that]. I have a friend who is a designer that's willing to work with me," she says. "But he also has so many beautiful gowns that he designed, which are already made."

One thing the she is absolutely sure about? What her gown won't look like. "I tried on some dresses that I never thought I'd want - like a big cupcake dress - for fun at Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier in New York City. And I was so right - I put it on and it felt so not like me," she explains. "I want something non-traditional that's still comfortable, delicate, and pretty. But I do want to step outside of the regular bridal box."

And judging by the wedding-day looks Whitney loves from the designers' new collections, she definitely will wear something stunning, but totally unexpected. From a sheer, sequin Houghton slip dress and a '60s-inspired Temperley Bridal number with a high-low hemline (Port did call long gowns "overrated!") to a white Oscar de la Renta bikini, she picked 10 wedding looks that only a trendsetter like the star herself could rock. Perhaps, she might actually choose one of these for her big day? We'll have to wait and see!
